The deputy manager at this hotel showed us around the hotel on our first night and paid a lot of attention to our experience. They even welcomed us to their hotel's 21st anniversary party! We wanted to have a look at the celebration and they invited us in with cake and snacks. They had 2 hot springs with a beautiful view. It was very relaxing and I also enjoyed their warm beach pool which stays open till 21:00. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet destination in Bali. Although it's quite far from your usual sights, they offer bikes for free to take per day so I felt free to travel and explore. The kitchen staff were especially very nice. My clock hadn't adjusted to the time difference from Ubud so I was 1 hour backwards! I occasionally came down for breakfast and dinner late without knowing and they still accommodated us. I am very grateful for their hospitality.

This was the only resort that offered glass bottles per room with a water dispenser just outside for refills. Given the resort is a bit of a walk from a local store, this was very useful.

The only suggestion I would make is that the diving centre in the resort should offer boat trips to Menjangan Island without the Scuba/Snorkeling experience. I could only book as a package which was a shame. I wasn't looking to spend a lot of money on water activities but I wasn't given the option to go and visit without it.

We booked three rooms are this resort for our family and friend for 5 nights/6 days..

The well laid out groups of resort property is well landscaped with trees and flowering plants and we enjoyed our walks. There are two swimming pools (which we found to the water temperature to be too warm) and two wonderful hot springs to soak in.

We ate out are nearby restos near the resort and although the prices were rather cheap, we were not impressed by the quality of the food. The resto at the resort is located by the lagoon on Mimpi Bay and has a great view of the boats and Mount Agung. The food here was good but pricey.

We had six good massages at the spa.

We did about 6 dives at Menjangan Island with the in-house dive centre and enjoyed them and got some good underwater pics. Service was good but the prices were high. We also kayaked in the lagoon.

Service staff on all fronts were very attentive polite and helpful. There were some trainees working in the resto who often had no inkling on what was going on and had to be closely supervised.

The property is about 21 years old and signs of wear and tear are evident...in the bathrooms and in and around the pool areas and walkways and the neglected children's play area on the grounds, Generally the rooms themselves were well maintained. There is a severe mosquito problem in the reception area in the evenings - perhaps they should employ more aromatic plants or some form of incense to keep these mosquitoes away.

We did a few things outside the resort ...visited the local market, a salf farm and a prawn aquaculture farm where we purchased live prawns (prior permission has to be be obtained for this). which we incorporated into our fried seafood noodles. We also did a half day trip to The Menjangan a resort property located in the West Bali National Park.

My mother who is 93 was in our group and they the resort provided a chair for her to sit on while she showered, extra bathmats to avoid slipping and an extension cord to plug her electric blanket. Since the restaurant was located by the lagoon on the other side of the property, they arranged to shuttle her to and from the restaurant for her meals.

We had an enjoyable stay and hope that the necessary upkeep and renovations will restore this property to its former glory soon.

Thank you firstly for all the staff there. They are superb and so helpful. We came in a small group and they assign our room close to each other. The room is quite big, they have many Swimming Pools, and also thank you so much that they assign the room close to the hot spring pool. We really appreciate it. Really unique, that they have a glass botol in the room and we could refill it by ourself (hot water, cold water or normal) to the closest water dispenser around the hotel. Very unique and good hotel for family or maybe honeymooner 😊😊😍😍.
Our regards to all of the staff and especially, Bapak Komang - Front Office Manager who make our stay memorable.

We booked patio room with 1 extra bed for 3 adults. The room is quite spacious with a small terrace with sofa. Shower is outdoor. We got a plate of fruits.

They have 2 hot spring water pools, 2 swimming pool, music room, library and a yoga place. One of the swimming pool is looking out a shallow sea where we can canoe-ing. The place is good for picture taken.

Drinking water is available at anytime unlimited, water dispenser is located at several points. Breakfast is having indoor and outdoor seating looking to the sea. Only 3 Choices of breakfast is offered: american breakfast, indonesian breakfast and continental breakfast.

Nearby good restaurant is 'babi guling pak dodot'. But most of restaurants only accept cash.

This resort is a place where you can spend 2-3 night without getting bored.

A beach resort with cottage style buildings. I discovered my room had an outdoor bathroom that had a lovely shower. But does mean that i was exposed to mosquitoes when in the bathroom. the room was fine and had an outdoor alcove. Would have liked a fan outside as was hot to sit in. Inside there was AC but no place to sit comfortably except the bed. I appreciated the use of pump bottles in the bathroom and the provision of refillable glass bottles with stations around to refill. The restaurant was quite a walk from my room. Service was fast and the food was fine.

Mimpi resort was a very pleasant surprise at the end of a very ordinary road. This resort is superb, the grounds and accommodation are so well maintained and the staff are both very efficient and friendly. The restaurant was first class both in food quality and service. The location next to the harbour was ideal for proximity to Mengangen Island which offered excellent diving, against a spectacular back drop of 4 volcanoes on Eastern Java. Guests are looked after from start to finish! Recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, tranquil setting with the options of diving or fishing.

There was a '2 For 1 Promotion' at the time we booked our rooms and I must say that it's definitely the best decision we've made! In addition to the amazing value for money, THE HOTEL WAS AMAZING. It offered extensive facilities and services, not the mention the high level of hospitality being shown throughout our 2 night stay there. Saying that it was a marvelous experience would be an understatement, as there was plenty of activities to be carried out. We swam every day in the selection of pools and hot springs available, snorkeled around the Menjangan island (there was a dive center in the hotel as well) as well as kayak during the sunrise. The overall spa experience itself serene and successfully made us relaxed during the last minutes of our stay. Would definitely come back and recommend anyone looking for a place to stay in north west Bali!

Stayed two nights in a villa and really enjoyed the private hot spring tub and also appreciated the common resort springs and pools as well. The villa was very nice. The property I learned was the first development in the area, as such it is older but seems to be extremely well maintained.

We were happy to stay at this hotel for several nights. Rooms are fully equipped with everything you need. Large bathroom with tropical shower, toilet. Shampoo, shower gel, body lotion includes. There is cattle to make coffee and tea, small refrigerator. Quite comfortable bad and large TV. On the territory there are 3 hot springs and several pools. Breakfast included several options, we've choosed American breakfast with omelet, sausage, fried potatoes. By the way dinner was nice, especially steak with black pepper sauce.
We would like to thanks stuff at reception and in restaurant. They helped us with everything, were very friendly and opened. Sure we will come back again!
Thank you for unforgettable days!

We are lucky enough to stay in a Hot Spring Pool Villa. It was amazing, having our own personal pool, the courtyard garden, spacious room, mezzanine level and outdoor Bali bed in the pool bungalow was all so special. The lagoon is stunning and there is so much space in the gardens to wander about in. The restaurant is great quality, the Sate Campur is delicious. Food is reasonably priced for the quality on offer. The drinks are a little over priced though at around double what they are at every other restaurant we have visited in Bali (85k a large Bintang). All the staff are super friendly and very good at their jobs, doing little things like giving you some bug spray which they didn’t have to but could do they did. All in all it’s a great hotel to spend a few days relaxing in!

Well, as far as I know, there's no resort in Northern part of Bali that's gonna make kids says this is heaven. But, if you plan to go outdoor activity like snorkling, diving, hiking even for kids, then it is a perfect place. And Mimpi resort is one of the best option.

Not sure about the spa as I did not use it. As for the hot spring pools, I would recommend that you consult your obstetrician. Snorkling request can be handled by the dive resort attached to the resort.
