I had such an excellent time here. The villas are elequant and beautiful. The view of the ocean is amazing. And the staff really ties the place together because of how humble and friendly they are. I cannot wait to come back!!!
The villas are located right on the beach, which makes for a very relaxing nights sleep listening to the ocean as you drift off. In the mornings you can sometimes hear the excited chatter of the local fisherman getting ready for the mornings work.
These beautiful villas are right on the beach where before your view, traditional fishing from boats takes place. You can hear the gentle roll of the waves from inside your villa with dining amongst beautiful palm trees and muted lighting at night. Staff are friendly...More

Hi there, it is possible to walk to some other places, but essentially Amed requires transport to explore and see it all. You can hire scooters from Apa Kabar, at the front desk for $5 a day and reasonably safe to get around. The other option you have with restaurants in the area is that they will pick you up and drop you back at the Villas.
There is lots to explore in the area, so a scooter is the way to go, just return it with a full tank and all will be sweet
