We are traveling as a family of 4 in Asia and our budget is very tight so we always go to small, inexpensive guesthouses. We chose this hotel that we could not afford in France to test the luxury hotel experience. The swimming pools (there are 2) are incredible and overlook the beach. We spent a very nice afternoon there. The breakfast included in the price of the night is very generous: fresh fruit juice, choice of pancake fresh fruit with bread and jam or two small pastries with bread and butter and jam.
Then dish based on two eggs (omelette, fried, scrambled) with bacon or sausage.
Unlimited tea and coffee.
We had a double room with a sea view and a room with two single beds for the children which communicated with ours. The beds have four-poster mosquito nets. We slept very well there despite the noise of the air conditioning which seemed to me a little strong. The rooms are clean, as are the bathrooms.
The staff is very kind.
It was a really nice experience.

We booked the villa master suite for 3 nights while we dove at Bali Reef divers (located just at the entrance to the resort). Absolutely loved the vibe of this place, it was peaceful and serene, with the sound of the ocean often being the only thing you can hear when outside. There are two swimming pools with plenty of chairs for relaxing in front of the vast sea. The villa was well maintained and there was a lot of space to lounge around. There is even a big TV with netflix/ youtube so there is something to watch at night.

The staff were all friendly and helpful, attending to all our needs and requests dutifully. While the resort is built along a cliffside (some degree of stair climbing needed) and away from the main Amed town, the resort's restaurant also serves great food so that you would not need to walk out to feed your tummies. However, if you do wish to explore, there are some convenience stores located on the main street just outside, with great warungs a short 4-5 minute walk away. I highly recommend Puri Wirata for anyone looking for a quiet getaway in Amed.

My recent stay at Puri Wirata Dive Resort and Spa in Amed was a delightful experience, thanks to its prime beachfront location and welcoming atmosphere. Situated right by the beach, the resort offers stunning views and direct access to the tranquil waters, making it a perfect spot for a serene getaway.

One of the highlights of my stay was the resort's ability to accommodate our last-minute request for an extra bed just before our arrival. The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, ensuring our needs were met promptly.

Puri Wirata is an excellent location for catching breathtaking sunrises. Waking up to the view of the sun rising over the horizon was truly magical and added a special touch to our mornings.

While the resort boasts a typical older design, it adds a nostalgic charm to the place. However, considering that Amed is an emerging spot for tourism in Bali, a few modern updates could enhance the overall experience.

Puri Wirata Dive Resort and Spa offers a wonderful beachfront stay with friendly service and picturesque sunrises. Despite its older design, the resort's charm and location make it a lovely choice for travelers looking to explore the beauty of Amed.

Our first time ever in Bali was a fantastic experience thanks to the location and comfort of Puri Wirata, plus the friendly and professional staff at Bali Reef Dive where my wife did her PADI Advanced course and I did some other dives. We came here based on the good reports of our teenage children who stayed here previously to do their Open Water course. The villa was clean, well-equipped, very comfortable and relaxing with a great view. There is nothing quite like being able to just walk down the short path and steps straight from your room to the beach and snorkel the surprisingly good reef in front of the resort without even having to cross a road.
The food was excellent and we ended up eating dinner in-house almost every night (except the very first night, strangely, when the food was terrible - I think the chef must have been away. We gave it another chance and happily were not disappointed again for the whole week). Great cocktails and Balinese craft beer (or Bintang if you prefer) to accompany dinner, and very refreshing fruit juices at breakfast. The banana juice is amazing!
The bed we found uncomfortably hard but then that is almost always the case for us in hotels because we have spoilt ourselves with a soft bed at home.
Diving with the Bali Reef guys was excellent. Much appreciation to instructors Yuki and Ruben and all the local divemasters especially Dotcom and Guentong for making our week a wonderful and memorable experience.

This is our third time back but first time after Covid. The first time we searched for a good place for diving and good restaurant reviews and our eyes fell on this place. It absolutely does not disappoint! This time they had new menu card and I still dream about the fish kebab and the Belgian beer stew (can’t remember the name but you will find it). Also there were a lot of familiar faces and they even remembered us after three years. The place has a very pleasant and chill vibe. You can get massage (we did every day) and lots of different foods, drinks, shakes etc. There are also other restaurants around if you want to investigate but we spend the day diving and the evening sorting pictures and videos so didn’t test any. There is not much of a sandy beach but lovely pool areas that are newer crowded. There is a short walk/scooter ride to grocery. We usually got the dive crew to stop on the way home from diving if we wanted anything but otherwise spent most of our money in house as we know they need the money after lockdown. Also don’t forget to tip. There is a huge crew at work every day doing everything they can to make your stay perfect and since we are back for the third time they obviously do something right!

Very nice hotel with 2 swimming pools, deckchairs with parasols. Pool towels provided. Deluxe room with sublime sea view. Large terrace.
Full breakfast served at the table, only coffee or tea is unlimited but it is more than enough (omelette or fried eggs/bacon or sausage, pastries and bread, butter/jam, fresh fruit juice...
Away from Amed. Diving club on site. Restaurant and bar on site.
Be careful though: pebble beach but which does not prevent swimming

Full round experience from pre arrival were communicated with care, beyond expectation (Food, Room, surroundings).

Room : Huge Balcony, with beautiful view, the Bed also a winning point.

Food and service : Generous portion !

Garden : well manicures.

Immaculate property, service team among Amed Area. Beach front swimming pools isnone of the winning point. I’ve stayed in many 5 stars resorts and this comparable to them.

Property is same management with Bali Reef Divers, arrangements / bookings was efficient and personalize even for 1 day scuba Dive. Until the session is completed, each team deliver as promised with fun and relaxed enviroments for first timer.

Our last day at this beautiful place. The staff are simply amazing, so helpful and polite. The bungalow we have with sea view is perfect. Clean and everything you need in there. I had the most amazing massage at a reasonable price. On our anniversary our bed was covered in flowers and congratulations. All the food we have has been delicious. My husband has dived with the aid of the dive centre and was more than pleased with the service. 100% recommended.

We had such a wonderful stay here, beautiful rooms with sea views and two perfect swimming pools. We had dinner in their excellent restaurant almost every night. The food and service was great. Lovely staff! Bali Reef Divers attached to the resort were just the best. Our boys did their open water qualification and we enjoyed some beautiful diving with their knowledgeable and friendly dive guides!

You have to call the front desk to inform them your estimated time of arrival at the airport. Transfer to resort by resort's private car is available only if it has been pre arranged, depends on your deal with the resort. It takes 2-3 hours from airport to reach the resort. There is a fixed point to point fee for airport taxi for IDR750,000 (USD65). You can choose to rent a car, bargain for IDR450,000-IDR650,000. Car rental is available within the airport.

hello, we stayed in a deluxe room with ocean view and it was very spacious, excellent for a family with a kid because there was no room under us, we were near the restaurant, above the spa location. I know they have villa too. I hope you enjoy your stay, it's very nice and close to very good resto
