While travelling to trivandrum i use to lunch and dine from this very old restaurant. For non veg and sea food lovers it is the ultimate choice. bit over priced but still they maintain good quality Located on the high way side. lot of parking space. less crowded

I am visiting this hotel for around 12 years, it was very good when they were operating from the building behind the roadside one. Recently the food taste gone low and feel the lack of maintenance. Location-wise it is a very conveniently located for highway travelers in alapuzha. Just need more attention, then it will be back in shape.

The place is a bit away from Alleppey but can be tried for some good food. U will love spacial preparations of sea food there. They have very tasteful architecture. Good for fine dining. Their veg & non vegetarian food is equally good. Must try.

On a trip to Allepey we decided to drive the extra Kms to go to Kalpakavadi restaurant. First a little history; The Original Kalpakavadi restaurant has now been divided into two restaurants - Kalpakavadi Inn ( Which has the old cottages and huts - Owned by the younger brother) and Kalpakavadi Restaurant (Owned by the older brother). Don't you just...

This is an easily accessible restaurant bank on the national highway towards Cochin. The customer service is not the greatest on earth , but the preparation of the Karimeen Pollichathu is absolutely fantastic. The staff will make hot appams right in front of you. The fish are grown in the pond maintained by the hotel and gets served packed in...

We dropped in around lunch time on our way to Kochi from Trivandrum, ordered fish curry meals and Karimeen pollichathu. I expected a Rs.120 meal to have a 'payasam' also included, and a Rs.450 Karimeen pollichathu not to have the muddy taste. We were not offered any refills on the curries, had to shout for rice/water to be refilled. Overall...

We dropped in at Kalpakavadi restaurant for lunch on the way from Alleppey to Trivandrum. My son was keen to try out the Karimeen Fry (Pearl Spot Fish Fry) which is a speciality in the backwaters area. The fish was quite good but slightly expensive at Rs 350 a fish, considering that this is just an average restaurant. There was...

Its a decent restaurant with good ambience and good food. But I will not recommend this place for dining just for one single reason ' staff's attitude'.. Its horrible! It's a classical example for, even the place is awesome, the staff's can spoil everything!

We dropped in to the restaurant (not the inn) en route Trivandrum from Cochin. The place looks inviting and there is a kids play-area with some swings and other equipment. However, it was quite rusted and so we were not keen on placing our toddler there. The staff were very friendly and courteous. The washrooms were about average, nothing spectacular....
