The best and worst part about Tea Meadows is location, location, location. On the positive side this hotel is right in the middle of a tea estate. If you are in a mood for solitude this is the place. We have given this an average rating because "poor" seems a little harsh in light of the fantastic setting and friendly staff. However, the accommodation fell below our expectations and was disappointing compared to the rest of the places we stayed. Tea meadows seemed to have everything going for it in a house overlooking tea plantations and forest. However, the interior was so disappointing. The rooms were dirty (stained walls and rugs). And the wiring over the bed was sticking out and looked very dangerous. The bathrooms were filthy (we were given a choice) and the baths were stained brown. We...
