We decided to luxe out a bit for our final couple of nights in Cambodia (luxing for our backpackers budget, anyway) and we chose well in staying at Brise. I'm a little surprised by some of the other negative reviews here, but I guess it's a case of expectations. For USD 35 a night, I wouldn't be expecting first world...

It's close to the jetty for rabbit island but that's about the only plus. You can reach the jetty for only $2 from nearly all the other hotels in Kep which you'll do once. If staying here, you'll have to add that cost twice a day if you go out morning and evening. If you so go out ask for...

The room was acceptable, but definitely not worth 45$ a night (this is Cambodia): don't be mistaken by the name - "Boutique". You'll need a tuk-tuk to get to places; when checking out we asked the staff several times to call us one. When a tuk-tuk finally showed up, he said it was for other guests (who checked out after...

If Brise de Kep is your first hotel experience in Cambodia, you'll find the place a bit quaint but charming with its garden and lounge area overlooking the bay and islands. The staff is apparently welcoming and helpfull. Ok, the plumbing is not perfect with the sink leaking on the floor, the wobbly toilets seat, the slight drainy smell or...

Stayed here one night on the way to Vietnam and ended up staying for five. Kep and the surroundings have so much to offer one day is not nearly enough. Brise De Kep offered a very nice room at a great price nearly beachfront with very helpful and friendly staff. Best of all was their restaurant far better than the...

The rooms are good and clean but nothing to rave about. The guesthouse is located few meters from the Kep beach just over a kilometre away from crab market (very pleasant walk by the sea) and about 3 km from the Kep market. Now, the prices of bike and bicycle hire, laundry, coffee are outrageous. However few doors down the...

Unfortunately we took the last room available which was a basement room that ended up having many cockroaches in it. One jumped on my face & woke me in my sleep :( horrible. They laid eggs in my bags cost us some to try eradicate after. The staff did however not charge us for room & apologised. We slept in...

Excellent location across from Kep beach. Clean rooms with aircon and TV. Water pressure is a bit disappointing so showering was a bit slow! Good restaurant with beautiful terrace, wonderful view and excellent food. I agree completely with the reviewer who said that the staff, who work in the restaurant, are "a little bit dreamy and disorganized, but friendly" it...

Not to be confused with 'Brise De Kep Boutique' which is a seperate hotel in a different location. Some of the pics and reviews on TA seem to have it mixed up. The original Brise de Kep is located centrally, directly across from the main Kep beach, across from where the buses stop. This place is clean, with basic small...

We had a fine stay here, staff always greeted us with a smile, no problems. The main point of this review is to avoid the travel place next door, it has a sign for Ha Tien-phu quoc travel. One day we booked our trip to rabbit island with them which went well so we then decided to book our onward...
