My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at Bodhi. The small raised huts are very basic, with little protection from the elements, and quite dark inside. I didn't get much of a look at the hostel accommodation in the main structure. Those rooms may be less exposed. This wasn't a bother because we spent the majority of our time...

This place was the best! amazing people, tons of travelers and expats. This was the summer and the off season. Met a bunch of cool people that we ended up running into later, and one joined our group then me and him went off to the north east on motor bikes, met more people, swam with a family in the...

We stayed one night in the dorm for 3$ a night. The dorm was ok for the price and the food was good. Unfortunately were bedbugs in my bed and now I am full with bites. When you decide to stay in this place, check your bed radical. The location was ok but not very clean and the staff was...

The fact that there happened to be a goodlive band playing the night i stayed was pretty much the only positive thing i liked here next to the view of the river. The reception was very chaotic and disorganised, the bathrooms were quite dirty and the dorms weren't great either.

We stayed in a bungalow away from the main area. If I really want to be picky, pillows suck. I am a light sleeper and had a hard time sleeping due to the noise. Otherwise it is a nice atmosphere on the river, can pick your own music at the bar and good food and coffee.

I feel with this place you either love it or you hate it. It all depends on what kind of traveller you are. To be honest this place was one the highlights of my trip. I stayed my first night at mad monkey and left because it just wasn't my vibe. It is a beautiful little chilled place to be...

There are risks staying at this place - look at the previous reviews. Bar staff who short change, undercooked food leading to bad stomach upsets. The people who really like this place like that it's out of town and that anything can be bought at the bar. There are large groups of young people looking to have a great time...

Oh so colourful, oh so bright, oh so generous. You changed my life. The sunrise from the hut was something, now I believe in Jesus. Thank you for your time! I had a really good time, people were so kind to me, I just can't believe it.

I had an awesome time at this hostel. It's super chilled out and right on the river. The staff are really laid back and friendly. They remember your name and use a nifty tab system where you can chuck anything on your tab (in my case lots of beers). The rooms are pretty basic but you spend all your time...

Bodhi villa is truly heaven! It is outside Kampot city, which is really nice because it's really quiet and also by the river. The rooms are nice, $3 a night. The rooms and bathroom were clean. Also it's a very sociable place. Met some great people. The staff are great! Super friendly! The food is great and reasonable priced! So...

“Don't choose a garden bungalow. The one on stilts may be better, as it's elevated and may be less dirty and less likely to have critters.”

“If you get a dorm, choose the upstairs dorm if available. A little quieter, with actual beds. The ground floor dorm is just a mattress on the floor (still not bad) The price is $2.50 for upstairs and I think a dollar less for down (so if you are super frugal choose down)”

“Bodhi can be a bit of a party place even though it tends to be pretty relaxed, would bring ear plugs if you aren't the type to be out with everyone.”
