We recently spent a couple of nights at Boundary Hill Lodge, near Tarangire National Park. We found our accommodation very comfortable, with a fantastic view. The room was large and very private, overlooking the plains below. The view from the toilet must be the best toilet view there is! The dining area was good and the staff very helpful. Apparently...

We stayed here for three nights and it was great! We sat on the verandah and watched the animals on the plains below our room. The rooms were very comfortable and we ate each day on an open terraced area. A great place to stay!

We stayed at Boundary Hill Lodge for three night after two walking safaris. It was relaxing and great to have a bath on the private balcony looking at the fantastic views. The food was excellent and Brian the cook needs to be commended.

This is a great place to stay. The view from the room was amazing. The food was excellent. My children enjoyed having lessons in Tinga Tinga painting from the resident artist. We stayed 2 night and could have stayed longer.

You take a 2 hour drive on a bumpy dirt road to get to Shangri La. Along the way, you pass local villages, masai boma, and animals living in the conservation area bordering the park. Then you arrive at the lodge to find a welcoming committee, 8 rooms (that are more like houses without kitchens) that have spectacular views over...

My daughter and I stayed at Boundary Hill Lodge in September 2014. Our stay was very memorable and one that we will always treasure. We drove from Arusha to Boundary Hill and on arrival we couldn't believe just how magnificent this place was!!! I had seen photographs but nothing prepares you for the sheer beauty. Our room was beautiful with...

Boundary Hill Lodge is a rustic, yet comfortable overnight location on the edge of the park. from its balconies you can see literally miles of African plains.....see & hear the lowing of buffalo or trumpeting of elephant as they graze. Spectacular sights. The lodge is run in partnership with a local Masai tribe and those folks are the staff. It...

This lodge is the result of a partnership with local Masai people. It also represents a thoughtful approach to natural resources. The road in is pretty terrible but the lodge is a haven, each room is totally private and enjoys a magnificent view. Ours had a claw foot bath on the balcony. We were the only people staying. Very quiet....

We arrived later than expected, due to a delayed flight, so arrived just after sunset. The room was lovely ( especially considering its location in the middle of no where). Attempted to take a shower, but it required a light and unfortunately all the bugs were attracted to the light so saved it for the next morning. Being escorted to...

I loved that this is run co-operatively with the Masai, I also loved the eco-friendly nature of the lodge. It was amazing to see it carved literally into the cliff face. It comes with shortfalls though - expect some issues with electricity, toilets that will only flush every hour or two and showers that take quite some time to heat...
