This was our first trip to Africa and our first safari. We spent a total of nine days in Oliver’s Camp and Olakira Camp, both operated by Asilia. All the details of our stay were organized by Joris Smit of Jorafrica. Joris is marvellous. He listens carefully to your needs, and ensures every detail is fully covered. Before we left... More

Oliver's is what you would think of if you imagined a tented safari camp out in the middle of the bush - truly an authentic safari experience. Each tent is completely separated from view of another, surrounded by the bush landscape. Tents are very roomy, and well appointed with comfortable beds, desk, shelving, and bathroom conveniences. There is a very... More

My husband and I stayed in this camp for 2 nights in October 2015. This was our first camp on our safari and what a wonderful experience it was. The camp was set out to make the most of the view into the valley where elephants, zebra and other animals roamed. Each tent had a view into the valley both... More

Joris Smit of jorafrica (our travel advisor) set us up with the asilia group in tanzania at this camp and at olikira in the northern serengeti Great combination.real pros. Olivera is a permanent camp right in the centre of elephant country and other seemingly endless types of game. We were here for 3 days and saw 4 of the big... More

This was my first tented camp so I didn't know what to expect but I loved every aspect of it. The rooms and community areas are beautifully decorated. I loved the outdoor shower that overlooked the plains. The food was good too. Our last breakfast we were wowed with a full buffet on the overlook deck (right above the bush... More

Awesome! Our family of four (spouse, 17 & 19 year olds) spent three nights here in July 2015. Everything was perfect….accommodations, food, drink, African TV, Sundowners, breakfast on the deck, hosts and staff. The hosts were fantastic, very involved in everything, always looking for ways to make our stay even better and very friendly. The food was great, and they... More

Just got back from Little Oliver's and it was a dream come true! Julie and her staff are absolutely wonderful. We had originally hoped to stay at Oliver's (which I'm sure is also a wonderful venue being an Asilia camp), but looking back we're really glad we were at Little Oliver's. With just 5 tents it is so intimate. The... More

My cousin and I just spent a week climbing up to the top of Kilimanjaro. So, we were very excited when we reached Little Oliver's Camp and saw the accommodations. WOW, wow, WOW! Julie was very welcoming and saw that we were completely bushed, so wasted no time in getting us to our fantastic tent. The beds were super comfortable.... More

We stayed at Little Oliver's Camp in early September and had an amazing time. The tents are spacious and well-appointed. The bathrooms are lovely, and what a nice touch to have outdoor as well as indoor showers! It is a small camp, so guests generally eat together for dinners under the stars. The food was delicious and there was a... More

Thankyou for a beautiful stay, although too short, it was beautiful. The staff, food and accommodation sensational. The park itself was a beautiful surprise, with an abundance of Elephants and Zebra and lots of other animals and birds to enjoy. The scenery gorgeous. Gorgeous accommodation. Special touches made us feel very special. Asante Sana
