I come from a bush upbringing and have always done self-drive Safaris. I have been driving through Africa for 8 years on my own. This is the first time I have done an organised Safari - a present to myself for my 70th! My expectations were high. After my experience of travelling for the month of November 2016 with Asilia...

One of the best places we have ever been to! Super friendly staff, excellent food, perfect location. Defininitely worth staying at. The camp has a very special atmosphere, one that is not to be found anywhere else. It was the first camp we stayed at during our safari trip through Tansania, and none of the other camps came anywhere close...

We were very happy with the accommodations, food, staff, and service at this tent camp. Everything was great. They accommodated my gluten allergy so that I actually ate too much. The views out the tents were amazing with elephants walking out in the morning and returning in the evening. The sunset balcony with drinks was also a plus as was...

~The Asililia name is gold.~ On our most recent trip to Tanzania we stayed at three different Asilia properties all of which far surpassed our expectations. The luxurious accommodations at Oliver’s are of course spectacular but the best part is the friendly staff and wonderful location. Every employee we encountered made us feel welcomed and important. The value here can...

This was my lucky 2nd visit to this most wonderful property deep in the Tarangire National Park. So happy to see Jackie, the Camp Manager, smiling face and experience her most welcoming personality again. The waitstaff cannot be generous with their service and smiles. They really become friends you don't want to leave! The food is outrageous and this time...

Oliver's camp has most delicious cuisine and wines. Really, the food was exquisite--and we are foodies from a big city. We felt pampered beyond belief by manager Mark and the staff. Special memories--watching the elephants below us at sunset, with drinks in hand--wonderful dinners and stimulating conversations at the communal table with fellow travelers from around the world. The DELIGHTFUL...

We stayed here for two nights after having visited the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater. We drove into Tarangire National Park and immediately were blown away by the scenery: red gravel roads, gigantic Baobab trees, a beautiful swamp area with lush green colours, and mountains when looking to the other side. A true 'Out of Africa' feeling we also experienced...

Very middle of the nature and be prepared to sleep with lions or elephants everynight. No wi-fi, no mobile signal, complete darkness and wildness at night. 90 minutes away from the airstrip and probably hours from nearest facility. I haven't feel the same in Serengeti. So if you are ok with that nothing to say bad about camp, perfect staff,...

Thanks for this very candid review – as it is true – at Oliver’s you are very much submerged in the wilderness. We are glad you appreciated the camp and its facilities.
