The small personal cottages were great. The screened in porches, fireplace, king size bed, and Jacuzzi made the stay incredible. Breakfast served each morning was phenomenal! The food and service was excellent. Great varieties to choose from and very filling. Could not have asked for a better vacation. Plan to stay longer than three days or you will regret it.

Our daughter and her fiancé chose buckhorn inn for their mountaintop wedding and reception. The setting was beautiful and the food and service was excellent! They stayed at the Webb cottage for their wedding night and it was gorgeous! We really were impressed by the professionalism by the staff and the lovely, serene setting. Would like to go back in...

Away from touristy, downtown Gatlinburg, the Buckhorn Inn is a beautiful inn with a lovely main lodge (dining room, common areas, and individual rooms) and individual cottages. Two couples stayed in two of the charming cottages. Screened in porches and comfy furniture inside. Serene setting, views of Mount La Conte and a peaceful nature trail. The food is delicious! Breakfast...

I live in one of the cottages and the interior decoration was amazing...we can see the wonderful mountain view from inside....You can enjoy the stunning nature as well as the comfort from the room...The breakfast is so nice that I doubt myself was still in the US...European style...The only thing I feel regret is I did not spend more days...

Got last minute cabin and it was perfect. When we wanted to stay another night they just moved our stuff to another available cabin. The people were so friendly and helpful, Grounds and location are beautiful and close to GSM park. Breakfast was great. Fireplace and jacuzzi and little kitchen made it even better.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Buckhorn Inn! We stayed in the Tower room and loved every minute of it! It is a very unique room! If you want a change from normal room layouts, I suggest this room. Three levels make up the Tower room; the Entry/Sitting Area, the Bathroom, and the Bedroom. Understand that you...

What a gem nestled in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains! The grounds are immaculate, and I cannot say enough about the very clean and comfortable cottage(s) we used during our visit. Each staff member goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and ensure your stay is enjoyable. Breakfast is amazing -- the juiciest of fruit,...

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. We LOVE bed and breakfast. This is not your typical bed and breakfast experience. We felt like we were staying at a state park cabin that had not been decorated since the 70's. Let me emphasize OLD and MUSTY. I had allergy issues the whole stay from the musty cabin. We...

This guest’s report of her experience at our Inn devastated me and I sympathize with her feelings. In reading the review again and again, I see that she didn’t like anything about our inn—not the décor, the food, the service, the view or any other aspect. As readers can see from other reviews on this site, this is not the...

Other reviewers have touched on the basics that make a Buckhorn Inn stay so pleasant: quiet and serene location away from the hurly-burly of Gatlinburg, beautiful and well- maintained grounds, delicious food (breakfast especially) efficient and friendly staff, gracious hosts, comfortable and tastefully decorated common areas, cottage(or room), and more. All are spot on so I will not repeat, and the...

We booked this stay way back in January for our anniversary weekend (May 31-June 2). I knew it would be a good place, but I had no idea it would be as wonderful as it was. We were greeted warmly and shown around. There is a sitting room downstairs with a coffee maker, soft drinks, ice, and in the afternoon,...
