Love staying at camping in the smokies. Great location next to dollar general in case we have forgotten any thing. Trolley stop right out front it has a creek that runs in the back very relaxing. Bathrooms are clean has a place to do laundry. Nice camping spots and great fellow campers. All in all GREAT place to camp!

We have been staying at Camping in the Smokies for five years now and still absolutely LOVE it!!! We are here for two weeks in July, and three weeks every October and will be back again next year! The price for full hook up is way below the other options in town, and spaces are not squeezed together like the...

Although they claim to give AAA and Good Sam discounts, and despite being asked if that were true on booking, upon arrival the discounts are denied during the months of July and October. Furthermore there is no Wi-Fi, there is no cable, and it's a basic site that is overpriced and definitely not worth the money. This is the last...

The amenities have been shut off,i.e. WiFi, there is none, cable they say is on but is not( I checked many sites). No One here and we know why. The grass is thin and thinning, in a place where grass just grows. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The management changed and they are taking the money and...

We just got home from a 4 night stay and we are so relaxed. The campsite is very clean and well maintained! The other campers were friendly and considerate. We will definitely stay there again! The only amenity I missed was internet...but that's what vacation is all about...disconnecting and enjoying life!

We have not stayed here since 2014-it just doesn't feel the same without the old managers-Bob & Bonnie. This year 2015, we tried to make reservations but found out they have no WIFI and cable was doubtful. We ended up going to another campground in Sevierville. Kind of a shame, since we camped here 5 years in a row. The...

We camped in the smokies and as we pulled in we was expecting to be surrounded by Forrest . Well we was only surrounded by one side of the Forrest, and the highway in front . The big plus though was there is a dollar store very close. We found out that the other camping businesses were not either. they...

It was clean and the care taker was very friendly. The Dollar General was handy being a walk away. Pool was clean. The sites are very close together. Water was on every other site with a "Y" connector. We were near the creek - very buggy. For what we needed it for which was to sleep at, it was good....

With a name like camping in the smokies I expected trees and seclusion, no it's wide open no amenities, kinda run down and eat over priced. Very disappointed. Also the sigh has no light so at night I passed it every time. Will not stay again.

My family and I stay here every year. The owners are friendly, family oriented folks. This camp site is very quiet, clean, and very close to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We love that there is a grocery store just down the street,a dollar store beside the camping grounds for all our supplies we forgot back home and the trolley picks up/drops off at the camp...

“Get a site that is behind the park office, on the stream. This may feel more like camping b/c the park office is blocking your view of the busy road, but it won't help with the noise.”

“Dollar General next door has some food. Food City west of campground by a mile. There is a great stream to swim east of campground in greenbrier region of Smokies, bring a tube if you have one for rapids.”
