Positive - Our kiddos loved the pool area with the cave area & hot tub and that part was open till midnight which was great after a fun day downtown. Negative - The mattresses were really old and worn down though (hard, roll to the middle, all the padding is gone in the middle) - makes for an uncomfortable night's...

My daughter just stayed here in the main lodge this week with a church youth conference. She was covered in bites, and on checking the sheets, found them full of bedbugs. The girls took cell phone photos and showed them to the front desk. Management was completely unresponsive saying the bedbugs were not a problem. Come on folks, the pictures...

This place is in need of a major overhaul. Everything here is in need of a remodel. I would not recommend staying here. The staff was nice. But the hotel is like stepping back into 1982! If I had it to do over I would have just went to somewhere in pigeon forge.

I hate to say anything bad when Gatlinburg is trying to rebuild, but do not stay at this hotel. We had flying bugs and bed bugs!!! The shower water would go from boiling hot to ice cold during one short shower. They refunded our money thank goodness, but they need to clean up their rooms better. Awful!

My parents, daughter, and myself recently spent two nights at the Sidney James Mountain Lodge. We arrived on Tuesday 20 December 2016. The lady at the check in desk, I think her name was Mrs. Barnes, was very nice. We went to our room #411. The room was clean and ok. There was a nice balcony over a small mountain...

Never had a bad experience. Love to get the Creekside cabins and listen to the water at night. I have seen several baby bears. So glad it didn't burn from the recent fires. There was a lovely park up the mountain from the hotel. The Gatlinburg convention center is close by as well and the city a short trip downhill.

We stayed at the Sidney James this past weekend. We were pleasantly surprised. The price was better than our usual place down in the parkway. Their pool and hot tub area is very neat with waterfalls and caves. They were repainting the lobby and pool area when we were there. The rooms are large like old hotel rooms used to...

The bathroom was not clean and had to call housekeeping. Toilet broke the first night. It was reported and after an hour and half I was told to be patient. Killed bugs in the bathroom for two days! Buyer beware!

It wasn't resent...but this is where my husband and I stayed for our honeymoon and we absolutely LOVED everything about this lodge/resort! We were there over the Memorial Day holiday until June 3rd of 2007. Our balcony wall was built right at the edge of the creek that flows down from Mt LeConte. In light of the resent wildfires my...
