From our first conversation with Jack at Lost Creek Ranch, we were impressed. Our family of 18 range in age from 12-72 years of age.....many of whom had never been on a horse or at least not recently...each family had their own 2 bedroom cabin with plenty of room...Everyone congregated in the dining room in the Lodge at mealtime...The food...

This was our first time to a Dude Ranch so we really didn't know what to expect. As stated in the title, the views were fantastic. No, you might not be able to see the Tetons from your cabin but just walk over to the lodge and sit out on the deck. Breathtaking. We agree with a few of the...

Just got back from a week at Lost Creek with my husband and three children and we are already planning a trip back. One of our children has severe (anaphylactic level) food allergies and Jack and Julie from Lost Creek assured us their kitchen could handle it. THAT was an understatement. Jordan - the head chef - looked me straight...

Stayed at Lost Creek Ranch in Aug with a family of 4 (including two teenage girls) in double room cabin. You come for the amazing views and tranquil location, but the staff and the activities are what set the ranch apart. This is our second stay at a guest ranch (another some years ago in Colorado) and would highly recommend...

The views alone would bring you back to Lost Creek, but the fun adventures, great food, and hospitality of staff will cinch the deal! The cabins are comfortable, but not "luxurious" -- In keeping with the setting, no tvs, etc.The amazing food is prepared and served by the sweetest people. Chef Sterling (always smiling) created interesting and tasty dishes, including...

We just stayed at Lost Creek Ranch and had a fantastic trip! Excellent views and very informative staff. Adventures galore, daily rides, float trip on Snake River, and excellent accommodations! Would definitely return! Just got home and already wish I was back!

And, of course, horses. We stayed a week, and had a great time. Two rides per day offered, with a choice of groups/types of rides. Spa, pool and skeet range on premises. Food and service high quality. The one snag was that we ended up in cabin #2, located too close to staff/kitchen area=too noisy early morning. We (2 adults,...

This was our first dude ranch vacation. I would have done a few things differently had I known to. First, if you are new to a horse, take an instructional ride and request to have it done in the arena where you can learn. You can split it up and then go for a trail once you learn/ relearn some...

We stayed at Lost Creek Ranch in Wyoming for a week in June and had a great time! Chef Jordan Hunt did a terrific job with the menu for all meals. We loved his southern flair. Rebekah Tate, our favorite wrangler, made the horseback riding so enjoyable with her positive outlook on horses and life. She was a pleasure to...

We wanted a special place we could take our kids and their families - ages 13, 9, 8, and 6) for our 50th wedding anniversary celebration. The ranch and spa, under the guidance of Jack and Julie Frappert, epitomizes the best in service and guest experience. The ranch cabins are simple - no phones or TV. It's all about family,...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Lost Creek Ranch, located near Jackson Hole, combines the best of a western guest ranch with a world-class resort. Every aspect of the ranch, including the lodge, log cabins, spa, corrals, and other facilities ensures your comfort, safety and enjoyment. The lodge, is spacious and refined, with comfortable spaces and wonderful views. The sleeping accommodations are elegantly Western and our spa contains state-of-the-art equipment. The most important and noticeable feature of our Wyoming guest ranch lies not in its structures but in its people. The ranch is dedicated to personal service; on average, we have one staff member for every guest. Our ranch crew consists of educated, experienced, trained professionals. You might discover that your wrangler has been working at the ranch for more than a decade, knows enough first aid to be an ambulance driver, and trades fixed income securities in his free time. Friendly, approachable, and attentive to your needs, our staff members excel at what they do best: making sure your visit to Lost Creek will exceed your highest expectations and providing memories to last a lifetime. ... more   less
