Way of the Wilderness is the perfect place to stay before or after a BWCA trip in the Sea Gull/Sagnaga Lakes area. It's not a fancy place, but very reasonably priced and has a nice cafe for burgers and pizza.

My family enjoys staying at the chalet before and after canoe trips into the boundary waters. It really makes our trips have a relaxing pace and we enjoy the friendly people. Make sure to stop in at the cafe for a great burger.

They are super knowledgable on the lakes in the area and there canoe prices can't be beat. Often times we will pay for them to ferry us out to some particular island in lake Saganaga. One of...

Way of the Wilderness is located on the edge of the Boundary Waters and in the middle of Superior National Forest, at the end of the famous and beautiful Gunflint Trail, a few miles south of the Canada border. WOW partially outfitted my canoe trip into the Boundary Waters this summer. It's a family-run operation, as many of these lodges...
