I have stayed at the Glacier Bay Country Inn twice now and thoroughly enjoyed each time. Jim and Curtis set up our fishing excursions as per our requests (we did things a little out of the ordinary) just as we had hoped. When there was a small with the fishing charter on one day, Curtis went out of his way...

Gustavus - I have been to several parts of AK (mostly around Anchorage) like Kenai, Seward, Soldotna, and fished a lot of the Kenai river and halibut in Homer and loved it. However, there is something special about Gustavus in general. That place calls to me and it just felt like this amazing place where I felt at home and...

We were originally planning to camp for several days in Glacier Bay but our plane arrived in the middle of a terrible rainstorm. We met the shuttle driver for Glacier Bay Country Inn who called the management and offered us a room for the night. They were extremely kind in the offer and we were glad to have it! Dinner...

Just an amazing lodge, nestled in heart of true nature. The cottages are so adorable and comfortable and the food is top notch! This location and lodge offers everything you want to experience while there. I loved hiking to the old plane crash and seeing the forest. We had great luck fishing as well. A place that I'd truly go...

This was our first stop on a Canada holiday and it was a great start. From the first email contact with Curtis no request was too much and when we arrived it was like becoming part of a very warm and welcoming family. The hospitality was an amazing complement to the beauty of Alaska and we will never forget Curtis...

We had an awesome experience at Glacier Bay Country Inn, since our arrival I felt like a VIP, walking down the airplane stairs, Gustavus is only a 12 mile remote beautiful town, not too far from Juno, Ak and the airport is small, the people are very courteous and nice, the staff from Glacier Bay Country Inn were waiting for us...

In our trip to Alaska we were scheduled to stay 1 night in Gustavos. On our scheduled departing day airplanes could not land or take off which forced us to stay another night there. As our original lodge was fully booked we found ourselves in Glacier Bay country inn. What a place!!! The setting is beautiful, the cabin that we...

I felt more like family then a guest at an Inn. Great place to get away from the cell phone. Warm staff made us feel right at home. Very relaxed place. Nice grounds, rooms were comfortable, food was great! Game room was fun and the movie room was enjoyable also. Great place to stay. I'd go again!

Great fishing, awesome scenery, topped off with great food and service. If you stay here you will want to come back again and again and you will have life-long memories. I've stayed here two years in a row and I will definitely be back next June.

We had a great time at the inn. We chose it because we wanted to be near Glacier Bay National Park, but not necessarily stay in the park itself. Curtis and the staff at the inn were great at making arrangements for us, driving us to where we needed to be during our stay, and providing information about the area....
