We spent one night in the Belton. Rooms were small but quite adequate. We loved the history of the hotel. Coffee and cinnamon rolls in the morning. Dinner at the restaurant was just OK. Menu quite intriguing but execution not that great.

We stopped in at the Belton Chalet just to see the place, it is quite a beautiful property, very historic and well kept! We did not stay here as we were already staying at a place nearby, however when we saw the train schedule for Amtrak behind the reception area, we were intrigued. We ended up speaking to Sophia at...

Belton Chalet is probably the closest thing to fine dining in West Glacier but while the entrees were interesting and generous I felt it was overpriced and not what I expected. We sat in the Tap Room which allows you to order from either of their menus providing a more few choices including nachos and sandwiches. We ordered the Montana...

We had a party of 10 on a family vacation to Glacier Park. They were very accommodating in squeezing in our large group last minute. The food was very good. We chose the sampler, cheese and bread plates for appetizers and all were tasty. For entrees we had filets, pork porterhouses and salmon. Everyone raved. Seating was a little tight...

Quaint historic lodge packed with character and nestled right next to west glaciers entrance. Although this beautiful lodge has relatively small rooms and no air-conditioning it was clean and convenient to glacier national Park. The lodge has a nice pub and restaurant with good solid food that it runs adjacent to the chalet. Active train tracks are relatively close to...

This is a beautifully restored, historic railroad hotel with West Glacier's best restaurant attached. I would not recommend if you want a pool or a TV, but if you like the idea of getting away from it all and relaxing on a cool balcony with a mountain view, this is your place. The hotel is comfortably appointed and recently renovated....

The people at the Belton Chalet are super kind! They made everything about my stay smooth and easy, and were so kind and helpful. It is very convenient to the entrance of Glacier National park, and a beautiful historic building! The room was small but sweet and very charming... The only thing Id say is that the train at 6:23am...

If you could take this hotel and move it just inside Glacier National Park I would stay here again. As it is, despite what those hard of hearing reviewers say, the train is loud. The traffic is loud. All night. They provide ear plugs. The room is spartan so if you want to do some writing or work without the...

My husband and I made reservations almost at the last minute so we grabbed a small room on the second floor, corner. Though small, it was extremely clean and included a ceiling fan, portable fan, plenty of electrical outlets, sink, shower. Nothing elaborate. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The lobby is cozy with a fireplace, comfortable seating and...

Charming historical hotel. Room was quite small but clean. Very convenient to West Glacier park entrance. We are light sleepers but we weren't bothered by train noise at all, which seems to be an issue in some reviews. Probably our only issues were a very loud bathroom fan and the loss of convenient parking if return to hotel after 7...
