We stayed for two nights. After checking in, we walked up the stairs to our room, and the view just took our breath away! Lake McDonald and amazing mountain views on the horizon. Just park yourself on the chairs outside your room and relax. The hotel has a broad selection of room options, with 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms and...

My wife and I made reservations to stay at the Village in at Apgar in Glacier National Park. We entered from the east side and began to wonder where this place was. Finally, we found it. Signage is not the best... but we drove up to the door of our room and I was nervous... until I walked through the...

We stayed in room 60 for 2 nights which is on the lower level right by the office. The rooms have sort of a 70s feel with floor to ceiling paneling but appear to be updated in other areas (bed/kitchen). When first checking into the room there were a large number of bugs (flies mostly) that needed to be killed...

The rooms are small and pretty basic, but you get a coffee maker, comfortable bed and free Wi-Fi. But the reason you stay here is to sit on the deck or balcony and gaze across Lake McDonald to the mountains beyond. Or wander a few yards down to the Lakeside. There aren’t many places with a view as good as...

Of the three places we stayed in Glacier, this was my favorite. It was clean, peaceful, and the view was breath-taking. I loved that I could simply walk out the door and be at the shore of Lake McDonald. All amenities worked, including internet. Wish I could go back right now!

You have to get over that it's an older hotel - you won't find that here...but given all the options for Lake McDonald, I'd say we chose well. Travelling with children, bed options are extremely important to us - and to be this close to the lake with a view from our hotel room was worth every cent of 70's...

We rented a room with a kitchenette. It was a fully stocked kitchen with dinette for 4 and 5 foot fridge. The room had a large picture window overlooking McDonald Lake - which was 10 feet from our door. The room had a door onto the lake side with 2 nice wood andirondac chairs & table. There was also a...

We had an impromptu trip and they happened to have a room. With a view! The room was clean and tidy. Good value for the money considering the location. The staff was very friendly and helpful considering we arrived 4th of July weekend without plans.

Fantastic location on Lake, the rooms were well appointed and very comfortable; the staff were very helpful. We had ground floor accommodation on side of lake. We "Just Like Eddies" - food and service very good. Am I nearly up to enough words yet as I was travelling with my daughter and wife?

We weren't sure what to expect when we drove into the parking lot - lots of people & different places to stay - but this place was great! You walked into your room which had picture windows facing Lake McDonald & fell in love with the place. Sit out on your back porch & enjoy the view, swim, canoe -...
