Unique architecture and full of art work. The room we had was called the Mogollon room and it was clean, roomy and comfortable. The continental breakfast was very good.

Recommended by a friend, this was a comfortable respite in a delightful place. Quiet, cozy, great bathroom, good art, and right in the gallery area of historic Silver City. They gave us a breakfast voucher for Vicki's Restaurant right across the street and the breakfast was more than filling.

We stayed at Gila house for one night, and we were really pleased with the room, and the atmosphere. Richard came down and sat with us at breakfast, and we chatted and really had a great time. Very relaxing room, wonderful art. We even got to meet the couples daughter, who is precious! We would stay here again in a...

I stayed here during a November trip to the Gila. We stayed in the Mimbres Room (I think). Very well decorated and cozy. Staying at inns, rather than budget motels or the back of my truck, doesn't happen much for me. I am so glad that I splurged on Gila House. Friendly owners, great location, and even a nice patio....

Most bed-and-breakfast places combine the small size with some sense you are guests in a home you are sharing. The owners often see their roles as guides to the community and perhaps a little responsible for seeing that you are feeling welcome and secure. And breakfast is often a prepared meal and often something of a community-gathering time if others...

The moment we arrived, Richard, the owner greeted us and brought our luggage to our room. We stayed in the Mogollon Room -- it was comfortable, inviting, great decor, clean and quality.....right down to the two terry cloth robes hanging in the armoire. Double glass doors in the room opened onto a private patio appointed with table and chairs. The...

There is nothing fancy about this place, but it is very comfortable and well kept. Our room was clean and nicely furnished with a small couch, a near-perfect bed, and a small TV. The room wasn't huge, but we had enough space. The bath was nice and the shower was excellent (actually, outstanding is probably a better description.) Breakfast was...

Really enjoyed our stay, Alice went way out of her way to make our stay an enjoyable one. I got the idea from some of the reviews that people are expecting Silver City to be another Santa Fe, well I for one am pretty glad thats not the case. It seems here in Silver City the people who work in...

“Only select the biggest room...rooms are small...TV in room but no cable or regular channels...Netflix only....free WiFi...rooms need ceiling fans”

“We had the Mogollon Room. We did enjoy the art in the rooms. The room we had was roomy enough and mostly clean, we did like the Robes, they were great and the towel were also clean. We felt that since we were practically the only one there it was like we had the place to ourselves. Amanda was not always around, but she was accessible when we had to find her we had to go to their living quarters, unfortunately I had to go down stairs then upstairs which I had trouble, because I wear braces for support and I struggled going up and down. I would recommend that they put some type of communication system in the rooms to have access to someone when needed for those who are disabled, especially disable from the waist down. Richard and Amanda were accommodating to us, because of some circumstances they would go out of their way to help, when Richard was there he was helpful. Over all, we very much enjoyed our stay. We recommend that anyone to stay there, because we felt that it was quiet for the most part. Thank you! Richard and Amanda”
