I've been traveling a lot and I'm only staying at hostels... This one is definitely on my top 5. The staff is amazing, really friendly and helpful and not in like a robot/machine kind of way as they are some places. I was even upgraded from a 6 prs. dorm to a three prs. dorm become they got room for...

I found this to overall be a very clean place. Nice, clean, fully functioning kitchen. Spacious rooms, and convenient ensuite bathrooms. Short walk to L & J/M trains and grocery stores. Helpful staff :)

Although this place is in Brooklyn, it's really fast to get to Manhattan. The nearest subway station is 5 min walk. If you want to get to JFK - it's two options by subway. The lounge zone in the lobby is quite big, lots of cozy seats, big tv, lots of books. And cheaper than living in Manhattan.

This hostel is probably the best hostel in North America! I remember having heard about a hostel but never stayed. Knowing NY is expensive, I knew I had to go the hostel route. I google'd hostels and this one came right up. Looked at pictures, they seemed really nice. Checked prices, they seemed unbelievably cheap for staying in NY. I...

Stayed in NY Moore hostel in October with my girlfriend. We stayed in 4 bed mixed dorm. Room was big, but poorly decorated with outdated furniture. One plus goes for beds, which are spacious and comfortable. The thing that disappointed me the most is the cleanliness of bathroom. It was really dusty and poorly cleaned. I didn't use kitchen because...

Was our first time in New York, very big city and trying to find your way around was quite hard at first. Directions given from the hostel about how to get there from JFK were very easy and accurate which after a 8hr flight was extremely pleasing. Very friendly and accommodating team of staff that work there. Obviously new york...

This was my 4h time in New York city and truly the best stay I had! I already stayed in hotels with less services! I stayed in a room for 3 persons, nice rooms, with enough space for each person which is important! The staf of the hostel was really nice and helpful, always here if you need something of...

The staff of the hostel is friendly, but the location is not really nice and the interior of the hostel is old and used up. The beds are not comfortable. The first sheets were dirty, but they got changed right away. If you don't look for comfort and are willing to commute, the hostel is fine.

We stayed at this hostel for three nights and it was convenient for us to get around the area because it's close to the subway. Few great places to grab coffee, local food stores, great pizza place and so forth. The staff are pretty friendly and we didn't have any problem staying there. There's free drinking water and coffee all...
