What a great place. Hard to find a nice, clean place in NYC without paying $400. I sprang for the private bath for a business trip and even though it's weird having three beds in my room, the cost was cheap in comparison. They have great restaurants and grocery markets right down the street. I bought stuff for dinner at...

I was going to a concert in Brooklyn and didn't want to take the BOLT bus back to Philly so I looked into a cost effective alternative. I found this hostel, I wasn't sure what to expect, but so glad I stayed here. It's close to the subway. The girl at reception was so nice and helpful and gave me...

So based on Photos I was pumped to have a bed and not a bunk bed and figured I would put aside the opinion of others. Accommodations: bed okay. Freezing cold as blanket provided is not substantial. Bathroom cleanliness below average, mold everywhere . Bring flip flops for sure.It would be nice to have hooks in lockers or by every...

I would like to write a bad review to keep this place a secret but it's just to good. The prices are great, the staff if super friendly and helpful and the amenities are beyond what to expect. I'm staying in a coed room for 6 and everything is clean and comfortable. Just in my room alone there is a...

I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hostel for those who want to explore NYC and not to be set back too much. Previously I stayed in Manhattan and the quality for the relatively same money was lower. What was tricky is the area nearby...I got confused with subway and got off at the wrong station ( Grand St.)....

The hosts we're really great and helped me out with recommendations for places to visit and other tips. The main thing that put me off was the location, although the subway wasnt far, the Hostel was kind of in the middle of a rundown, badly lit area, and when i was coming back late, i felt kind of unsafe as...

+ Close to metro station-Central Manhattan is reachable within 10-15 minutes via one to two metro lines. Rooms are very clean and spacious with high ceilings. I stayed in a female dormitory room and there were standard beds not "bunk beds" (From what I heard, this is not the case for mixed rooms though-better to check before booking) Free coffee...

The New York Moore Hostel was the second hostel I;ve ever stayed in. My experience there was just as good as my first hostel stay. I stayed there for 6 nights. The facility is nice and clean, they offer free coffee and tea all day, and the staff members were extremely friendly and helpful. I'd stay again and I'd highly...
