We stayed in the Lafayette apartment near Fort Green Park in Brooklyn.
We really loved our stay here. The apartment is in a nice street, opposite of a park.

Fort Greene is very safe and filled with cafés, restaurants, and shops all bordering Fort Greene Park. There is a lovely Farmers Market and Flea Market on the weekend and the neighborhood is walking distance to Brooklyn Academy of Music and the Atlantic Mall, as well as just one subway stop away from lower Manhattan.
