very nice comfortable rooms and at a decent rate. back in September 2015 when the power lines were down. i stayed here for a few days. they have a very small basic complimentary breakfast buffet. very very basic. hot cereal, cold cereal. hard boil egg, coffee tea and toast is about it. some juice and maybe a small selection of...

The price wasn't too bad but it was about the same as every other hotel in the area and a couple of them offered full breakfasts at no additional cost. I probably would not stay here again. For the same price, I would stay at one of the different hotels that offered a full breakfast because there was nothing special...

The room was clean with plenty of space, room had a good temperature to it. The staff were helpful and friendly. The bed was way to firm for my liking as I enjoy softer beds, there was no mini-fridge or small microwave, didn't ruin my day but would have been nice to have. The price was quite good though. The...

I stayed at the Westmark for about a week for a work trip. All in all it was a pretty average hotel, really nothing special and there were a few inconveniences which annoyed me during my stay. The main problem was that the hotel WIFI was miserably slow and for some reason I was not able to access my e-mail...

Nothing special. You will be a bit disoriented with all the Asian tourists wondering where you are! They of course are here to see the Aurora. Buses leave the hotel late at night and the noise is disruptive that late. Good value for the price though! Staff are friendly. Bathtub could be cleaner - hair and what looked like black...

I stayed at the Westmark for 2 nights. The rooms are very clean and spacious. I had brought some work to do so the desk and fast wi-fi connections were very much appreciated. I had a corner room so it was relatively quiet. The thermostat did make an occasionally buzzing sound, but that was my only fault with the room....

Thank Jim very much for advising us on aurora watching! We also love the so big room and fitness center. The only awful thing is the breakfast. The fruit tasted a kind of bitter and sour, definitely went bad... This was our first time to eat the spoiled complimentary breakfast offered by hotel. During the rest of that day, I...

We were up for a conference and stayed for a few nights. The staff was friendly, but the hallway smelled of not-so-fresh seafood. I know it's Alaska, but room service should not have left the cart out overnight and past breakfast. The "breakfast was alright, but with a restaurant in-house, it could have been better stocked. Overall, it was a...

While the hotel itself is clean and the rooms comfortable the poorly run restaurant drops them to 2 stars. The room rate includes a continental breakfast - sweet until you realize that they are NOT prepared for the number of guests who will participate. There is no excuse for this as they know how many reservations they have in the...

My friend and I stayed in two hotels for our Fairbanks trip. This is the second hotel and when I opened the door, I was surprised by the large space! We stayed in a 2 queen bed room, and everything just worked perfect. Bathroom is delicate. Plenty of free parking spots. Convenient location. What is the best, the breakfast is...
