Just a really cozy and friendly B&B-style Alaska stay. I've taken a photography groups to TofAK twice, and both times it was a really nice experience. Our trips have been limited to the winter for Aurora and landscape photography, so I have no experience with other seasons there. Kory Eberhart, the owner aknd full-time, hands-on innkeeper delivered friendly and helpful...

Perfectly situated just outside town and on the road to chena hot springs. It was an easy drive to the hot springs for a day, but we could easily get into town for dinner. Kory and his team were great hosts, provided us with snowshoes to tramp around his 100+ acres, and a great fireworks show for new years. They...

'A Taste of Alaska Lodge' is a quiet getaway a few miles outside of Fairbanks, Alaska. My wife and I traveled there in November of 2015. We generally prefer to keep to ourselves on vacations, and tend to spend more time together than we do socializing with others. We were surprised by the feel of the lodge when we arrived....

TOA is a hidden gem-- just far enough from Fairbanks to be "away", peaceful and serene, and a charming attraction every season of the year. Our latest trip was in October, and we encountered their "snowpalooza"- 14" of snow. it was gone by week's end... They even put some chairs out for us to use while watching the northern lights....

Visited to see the aurora. Weather was not ideal, but had a blast. Saw the aurora only one of three nights. But still had a great time. Mid September, so the fall colors were amazing. Stayed in the east room. Seemed like we had the entire top floor. One door opened to the common area and the other to our...

My husband and I had a great time in Fairbanks, specially staying at a Taste of Alaska Lodge. Kori is a great host and made our stay very pleasant and an unforgettable one. We came specifically to see the Aurora Borealis and we leave Alaska with the joy of having seen it twice (first one from the Lodge!). Really spectacular....

We stayed here one night with Laurent Dick of Wild Alaska Travel (wildalaskatravel.com) on our way back from seeing polar bear in Kaktovik. This place is a beautiful gem just outside of Fairbanks. The accommodations are extremely nice and clean and the view is fantastic.

We stayed here as part of our tour with "Wild Alaska" tour company It was very comfortable, clean and warm and the views were beautiful. In the summer it would be lovely to sit in the garden (however a bit chilly for that when we were there). My husband particularly enjoyed it as they bring you free beer to your...

Thank you for the kind words and review! I am glad you had a good stay at the Lodge. As much as I would like to offer all of my guests free beer, I can not. Your guide Laurent was kind enough to purchase your group locally brewed Fairbanks Lager which we have on tap year round! Best wishes, Kory

My only regret is that I was only able to stay one night. I am so thankful that we chose to stay at the Taste of Alaska Lodge. I stayed in the East Wing Suite. This is located off of the main dining room. At first I was concerned about it being loud but not at all. It was actually...

A Taste of Alaska Lodge situated 11 miles NorthEast of Fairbanks downtown, end of a side road branched out of the Chena Hot Springs Road. It's easy to find. In the main Lodge, it offers 8 rooms, 6 rooms downstairs and 2 family suites upstairs. We found the downstairs suites tight as 2 queen size bed occupied most the room...
