Beautiful room and supremely comfortable bed. The location is convenient--across the street from the subway stop, short walk to grocery stores, Fenway and Brookline Booksmith (a great independent bookstore). Price is good for Boston (hotels are ridiculously expensive).

My dad and I were travelling and staying in Boston for 3 days. Due to all the graduations when we were going through Boston there were no rooms available at any hotel. The Beacon Inn happened to still have vacancies at a reasonable price.

Hi I noticed in a comment that there is no staff from 9pm-8am at the front desk. Does this allow for a later night out? Can you get into the premises after 9 though there is no staff?

Definitely--you are given a key for the front door. If you are out past 9:00, you just have to have the key in order to get in. We did that a lot this time, that's for sure! It is a great bed and breakfast, you won't... More
