I stayed at Planters Inn more than a year ago and had a very positive experience. As I was traveling with my sister it was really nice to find a place that had a room with two queen beds and that was so charming. All the staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The breakfast included wasn't anything to write home...

We recently spent three nights at the Planters Inn on Reynolds Square. The hotel is staffed by a friendly and well-trained staff. It has a great location, is very clean and has a nice decor. Weeknights feature a free wine and cheese get-together with Karen, the amiable concierge. They also offer a nice complimentary continental breakfast. There were two issues....

Staying at the Planters Inn was perfect for the first visit to Savannah for my sister and me. Great location and Matt is the BEST attendant they could ever have. Karen was a little overbearing but most helpful planning tours (and serving the wine). Good breakfast and nice social hour to meet other travelers were extras we enjoyed. Try it,...

My wife and I stayed 3 great days at the Planter's Inn in Savannah last week and had a great time. The hotel is old but has a great location right next to the famous Pink House restaurant and across from one of the many historical parks. You can easily walk to the riverfront area and they will have a...

We just spent 3 great nights at The Planters Inn on Reynolds Square. Terrific location and easy walking to the river district and the lovely historic district. Elegant rooms and a welcoming lobby. Valet parking to garage next door was convenient but be prepared to wait a bit on check out. Complementary breakfast was enough to satisfy. Wine and cheese...

My husband and I spent 4 nights at the Planters over our spring break this year. It was a very nice experience. The hotel is quaint and charming. The rooms are nicely apportioned. The queen bed in our room was beautiful and very comfy. The room had a lovely fireplace and was quite nice just to sit in and relax....

Our stay was only for two nights but it was very nice. We were two female friends sharing a room with 2 queens.....no complaints except a lot of outside noise on Saturday night. Sunday night was very quiet and we slept much better. The location is perfect....near River Street, City Market, the Olde Pink House, etc. The breakfast was better...

This is a great place. Friendly and in a convenient, safe location. You can sit on the bench and watch the nightlife of tours and carriage rides across the street on the park. Nice wine and cheese reception and great staff. Breakfast in the AM was one of the best I have had.

We booked a room with twin beds - on second floor. Lovely room, right on Reynold's Square and only a block ( and a steep flight of stairs down to the river. The only draw back was there was no view as the windows looked across at a big parking garage and there was some traffic noise from time to...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
To sleep in the epicenter of the city's beautiful historic district, book some time here, on Reynolds Square. The Planters Inn offers elegant rooms, great service, and a jovial wine and cheese reception where people linger each afternoon. For a view, ask about one of the rooms overlooking Reynolds Square Park. Better yet, step outside the inn and get lost among the azaleas and architecture. Just make it back for your dose of wine and cheese. ... more   less
