Room smelled funny. Breakfast has little variety but was very good. Check in was awful. Booked the room and paid in advance, then my bank was bought out and issued me a new ATM card. It did not match the card the reservation was made under (despite the fact it has the SAME NAME on it) so they would not...

Dear DMTucker65, Thank you for your review on TripAdvisor. I am sorry to learn you experienced a credit card issue during your stay, and I am not quite sure why a paid reservation would have needed to be changed and would happy to discuss this issue if you would contact me directly. I can tell you that when debit cards...

This hotel is located right downtown and is within walking distance from most downtown attractions. We only had to drive to the botanical gardens. We were booked on the first floor room. The room was comfortable but on Saturday night it was very loud due to people outside talking and yelling while walking to and from various bars. That was...

I unfortunately just did not have the experience as other reviewers had with this hotel. To begin with we were placed on the first floor-no big deal we thought. However our room was right beside the front lobby and alongside a busy side street, making for a restless night. Our bathroom was not clean, and hairs were scattered everywhere on...

We initially chose East Bay Inn because it was pet friendly. But to our pleasant surprise, what we got was a lot more than we expected. From the first person we met, Melody at the front desk, who was so friendly and accommodating, up to our housekeeper Reese, who went above and beyond to make our room and our stay...

My husband and I stayed at East Bay Inn last weekend. We were delighted to find the Inn as charming and historic as described on their website. The staff is gracious and very responsive to requests. The Inn is at an excellent location in the historic district and very near the river. Walking to parks, City Market, and River Street...

Stayed on the first floor which is extremely loud from outside noise. I understand this is not the hotels fault however they have the ability to book from the top floors down and don't. I understand the hotel was built in the 1800's and the architecture of the building displays this, however; the staff does a less than average job...

The location of the East Bay Inn is perfect. Right across from the river , close to loads of sight seeing. Julie who checked us in was very friendly and helpful suggesting things to do and places to see. We had a room on the third floor, which I would suggest you request as the third floor is the top...

We love this place! Second time we have stayed there for a conference. Jennifer is so nice and helpful at the front desk as well as all the other staff. Great location within walking distance to restaurants and River Street. Will definitely stay again!

We loved this inn for many reasons. We accept the quirks of an older building and welcome them because of the added charm. But the staff...they were outstanding. In every way. The lobby and the several rooms we saw was/were beautiful. Each unique enough so that no area in the hotel felt like a "hotel". They even remembered our dog's...
