I was a bit disappointed when we checked in, so that is the main reason for the "average" rating. I don't typically rate a hotel average when the restaurant and housekeeping staff was outstanding...they delivered superior customer service. the morning breakfast was very good, although we didn't pay for it due to our Gold status, so I'm not sure if...

First, I agree with others' reviews on some concerns. This building is old and the rooms need updating. The lobby and common areas look like they have been updated and they are nice. Also, the valet parking for $24 a night is crappy. But we did go ahead and park in the public lot for $12 and it was a...

This hot l was very nice. Everyone that works there was pleasant and attentive to us. The room was clean and the bathroom was nice. They have a buffet breakfast (9.00 I think) and it was very good. If you don't have a predestined place for breakfast this is ideal! We were there for two nights and would go back...

Writing this review at 5am, after a fire alarm was triggered at 4am. Although it was a false alarm, the hotel is yet to resolve and guests are still in the lobby. Loud piercing sound continues in rooms. No urgency being shown and no communication to guests. Besides having outdated rooms, this experience will ensure I never stay at this...

We arrived to early to check in and valet parked so we could go ahead and walk around. Alec our valet graciously explained the additional cost per day, gave us our claim ticket and suggested we take a picture of our ticket just in case we lost it! What a great idea! Never would have thought about that! We had...

The main lounge was pretty nice & welcoming. I figured the rooms would be similar to first appearance, but ours was outdated. The carpet was a little gross and the bathroom needs a total redo! It had rusted doorways and the old plastic shell shower with an head shower head. I usually enjoy showering in hotels, but this was an...

The rooms were fairly clean, but needed some updating and TLC. Peeling wall paper, cracks here and there, window that wouldn't stay open - nothing major but noticeable! The concierge service was very helpful and the breakfast buffet was excellent! Seating with excellent and friendly service and a very nice variety!

PARKING: There is an extra $24 daily valet parking fee that is NOT included with the room. The sign outside the front door of the hotel states that there is "transient" parking & there is a public parking lot on the corner across the street from the hotel that cost $12. However, when the hotel's valet parking lot fills, the...

On a two day stay with my wife and the room was very nice, the people greeting us were very nice. We had two problems with the concierge on directions to dinner the first night and breakfast the next day. Both times she sent us in the wrong direction and really didn't seem to know much. We had to ask...

I had to switch our trip to Savannah and accommodations due to unforeseen circumstances to a later weekend, and we couldn't keep the rate we had for the other hotel and this hotel was in our price range so it won. While there wasn't a specific incident or situation that led us to this review, the stay overall was just...
