This was our 2nd stay at the Amethyst Inn . Everything was perfect. Food was all homemade, so good. Rooms were very clean. Don't need to drive in the city, you can walk or take the trolley to everything. The garden is really nice especially when the Jasmine is blooming. The part I didn't like was when I had to...

You can stay in any number of accomodations and see Savannah but this bed and breakfast offers so much more than a place to stay. Not only is it beautiful and comfortable but the innkeepers (Jane and Rocky) are charming and wonderful hosts. They were so welcoming and did everything possible to make our trip enjoyable. They were so helpful...

Upon arrival we were welcomed by Jane and Rocky who introduced us to the other guests and we soon felt we were part of the "Amethyst B&B" family. Prepared by Jane who loves to cook, during a varied, delicious and ample breakfast ( providing for us vegetarians ) we all shared our experiences of the day before and what we...

If you visit Savannah I would recommend no other hotel than the Amethuyst Inn. If you want to life history and not only visit historical homes you´re at the right place. Location: perfect right in the historic district. Walking distance to river street 10 min by foot. Quiet street (unless the street cleaning cars comes by - but hey, the...

What a wonderful stay we had at the Amethyst Inn. Jane and Rocky seemed like old friends after just a few minutes of conversation. The Amethyst Inn is beautiful, quiet and so welcoming. Jane's breakfast was beyond words. We can't wait to return for another serving of Southern hospitality! Thank you for such an enjoyable visit!

My family made a visit to Savannah and stayed at the Amethyst Inn. There were 6 adults and one 2 year old and Jane did a fantastic job at accomadating us. We had a hard time finding a B&B that would take children so when I spoke to Jane on the phone and she said absolutely, we knew we found...

Myself and my wife started our honeymoon here. We both agree that this is the best Guesthouse we have ever stayed in in any part of the world. Jane and Rocky are the most hospitable, friendly and helpful people you could ever hope to meet. The room was excellent, with plenty of space and a massive, comfortable bed. Breakfast time...

Jane and Rockey are the finest hosts on the eastern coast from Canada to Florida. Jane is a lovely woman and an absolutely wonderful cook (move over Paula Dean). Rockey is the most informative and interesting man we've had the pleasure of meeting in years. Together they provide an absolutely elegant inn, wonderful service, and genuine downhome entertainment. Thank you...
