We stayed one night on a Sunday. Room was average, need confortable. Staff was helpful and very accomodating. Beautiful, historic hotel. Nicely renovated. The furniture in our room looked pretty worn though it was functional. Not what I would have expected from a renovation of this caliber. All in all would stay again.

Stayed for one night, the room was perfect for what we needed. Spacious, full of natural light and comfy bed. The location was great- lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Staff was super pleasant and accommodating. Definitely would recommend this for anyone spending time in Mt. Vernon!

We had the Wallis Simpson Suite. It was very spacious and comfortable. The furnishings were very nice and clean. The staff was very helpful with directions since there are so many one way streets. Getting there our GPS kept telling us to make U turns. So we really appreciated the help with directions, Every morning they have a complimentary breakfast...

Very nicely renovated recently. Manager & desk employees super helpful. Safe walking distance eating establishments. The only downside is parking. Was given a parking reservation to place in car after check-in, for which we were very grateful.

Front desk was very personable and helpful-------free parking on a certain section of the street which is a treat in a downtown hotel. Comp. continental breakfast was pretty good. Room was clean and large sized for a downtown hotel!

I could not have been happier with our choice to stay at the Brexton. The staff was really friendly. We stayed twice in the course of one weekend because we took an overnight trip in the middle. The first room was on the first floor on the end and we were so pleased with the spaciousness of the room and...

My husband attends Johns Hopkins but we live in DC. We wanted to spend some time being "locals" in Baltimore -- enjoy the local night life and restaurants, and visit campus and the American Visionary Arts Museum.
