The Hotel Limpia Fort Davis Texas is awesome. The Hotel is clean, staff is friendly and knowledgeable, close to everything Fort Davis has to offer, and the Blue Mountain Bistro restaurant was very good

We loved to stay at Hotel Limpia in Fort Davis. Our family loved the atmosphere of the old west. The room was clean and very quaint. The town is small, but it was nice. The hotel had a nice garden and several restaurants within walking distance. We would stay there again.

Stayed at this hotel recently on a business trip to Fort Davis. This hotel was originally established in the 1880's and has much quaint charm. The lobby and sitting areas have period furniture and are very inviting. There are balconies in the front and back of the hotel with views of the area. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. A...

The hotel was nice, old and interesting. We wanted a special night. When we checked in, the hotel staff person was not very welcoming. After having traveled 8 hours to get there, we sure could have used a better welcome. It was practically empty on a Tues, but She put us in the smallest most unwelcoming room. I asked to...

I am glad that spent a comfortable night in the Limpia. I apologize if our front desk clerk was less than welcoming and will look into who was on duty on the night you stayed. The room you requested to move to was already booked for the night. (All of the single queen rooms in the main building were booked...

We recently stayed here for one pleasant night at the end of our Big Bend trip. The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly. My husband and I had the lovely room #31 on the ground floor with a king sized bed and it opened onto the screened-in veranda. Great location! Our kids had a room upstairs with two...

We stayed in the Annex across the street, which had very basic amenities, but had access tot he main part of the hotel, which offered coffee and a nice sun room and lounge area. The hotel itself has a lot of character and is very fun. Try to stay in the main part of the Hotel Building if you can!

This location worked well for our Star Party at the observatory. The curb appeal on arrival was underwhelming. We arrived at afternoon "shift change" and were asked to wait while the staff completed their duties before they would check us in. We elected to walk the few shops across the street instead of standing at the desk. There are 2...

The Hotel Limpia is an antique. The building is in great shape for being 100. The rooms are decorated with a period look, but it is modern in its amenities. Stay in the original building, the floors creak a little but it is a wonderful experience. The parlor and wrap around porch are worth it alone.

Maybe my wife and I should have stayed in the main part of the hotel. The annex rooms are located across the street en block. Problems were 1. Noise from the central heating boiler 2. Noise from the refrigerator 3.Window slats letting in light 4. Shortage of power sockets 5. Intermittent wifi signal 6. Toilet pan at the wrong angle,...

A delightful older and historic hotel. Right in town. Very quiet, with ample room to relax. The rooms are dated, but that's the point - it feels old and it should. No lack of comfort either. Stayed upstairs. Nice size rooms with high ceilings. Large bathroom but little counter space. Dressers and TV. Amply furnished. Ceilings in the hallway are...
