Since my husband and I had never been to Oregon and wanted to see the coastline, we started half way up and traveled north to Astoria. I had seen and booked the Cannery Pier Hotel based on reviews I read on Tripadvisor and wasn't disappointed. Arriving, you drive across the bridge to the hotel, which is out on the water...

Stayed for one night. What a wonderful hotel. Check-in was easy with a very helpful front desk clerk (don't know her name). Room was very nice with an amazing soaking tub and bathroom. There was a balcony overlooking the river where you could watch the Astoria bridge and boats. There was wine and snacks at 5:00, cooking at 8:00 and...

My husband and I spent three wonderful nights staying at this beautiful hotel at the end of the pier in Astoria. Our room (all rooms) overlooked the Columbia River and our balcony was largest enough to sit out each morning with coffee and each evening with a glass of wine or beer. Our room was very well appointed with a...

Cannery Pier is a landmark in Astoria and a special place to stay. Our room was huge with its own fireplace, balcony and binoculars to look out onto the spectacular view of the bridge and boats passing by. Welcome was friendly and helpful, staff were quick to help us with the fireplace and the wine and cheese hour was great....

Lovely hotel, relaxing and inviting environment. Staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. I like the driver service for dinner in the antique cars😊. Watching the seals out our window and listening to the boats go by was just icing on the cake.

I stayed at the Cannery Pier this week for a corporate event in Astoria. We held the event at the hotel. I cannot emphasize enough how lovely and accommodating all of the hotel staff were. The food and meeting rooms were perfect and they were able to work with all of our last minute issues. The rooms are wonderful. I...

We stayed here two nights and loved it. The room was quiet. I feared staying on the ground floor that we'd hear footsteps all night in the room above us (it has happened at some very classy places in our past). But no noise at all, and I did believe there were guests there. The view over the water makes...
