Stopped for the night in Astoria last week and usually target a motel reasonably inexpensive but not the cheapest. I am OK with older properties if well kept and can excuse some issues. The Atomic seems to have been rehabbed a bit and repainted. I informed staff that a couple of the drains were backed up as most folks probably...

The hotel is right off of 101 near the bridge. It's on a busy street, so expect some level of noise. It's named the Atomic, but they have a sign to alert you that it was previously the Lamplighter. The hotel is freshly painted in mid century modern style, and the stylish and fun lobby follows the same style. There's...

NEW NAME! Atomic Inn. Very clean and the rooms appear to have been redone. Reasonably priced and across from the boardwalk with great view of the bridge. SUPER NICE PEOPLE!! Can't beat it for the money. No laundry or pool but a good clean safe place for kids.

Stayed here while visiting Astoria on my way down the 101 this month. The neighborhood (near the bridge and docks) isn't anything too beautiful to look at, but it is very convenient for getting places. It's a classic mid century motel-doors that open to the outside, wooden board vaulted ceilings. The room came with a fridge and a fan, but...

Cute setup. A bit outdated but clean and functional and good pricing ! Also have free wifi and breakfast. Very friendly owner/staff ! Breakfast was: coffee/tea, fruit, oatmeal, pastries. Amazingly quiet although on the main road going to/from Astoria.

The room is in need of a total makeover. The Bathroom has mould growing in it. Don't let the lite lamps in the windows fool you into thinking this is a homey motel. Just keep driving!!!! It is not worth the 77.00 dollars a night. A total DIRTY DUMP!!!!!

Very friendly, clean place to stay, close to all things to see. Great breakfast, nice sitting room with a fabulous view. Conversation was helpful regarding other sightseeing in the area. A must for the area. Close to downtown area. Great night's sleep, comfy beds

The front desk couple were very friendly and the atmosphere was very homey. All the rooms have a light on in the window which gives the Motel a very warm cozy feeling. The rooms were a nice size and comfortable. There is a good restaurant right next door so very convenient for meals. Reasonable price for this time of year....

it is about what you would expect for the price. The room was clean but things were pretty stained. The breakfast was danishes and they might have had coffee but we ate next door at pig n pancake. Not a quiet place but located within walking distance of most downtown stuff including the trolley. No AC but did have a...

We needed somewhere to stay and this place had a vacancy and a better price than some other, so-called alternatives. The room was large and clean, the host was friendly, everything worked. We got what we paid for. The breakfast was basic, even more basic than a Super 8. But again, it did the job. If one chooses to go...
