I booked this motel at the last minute on a holiday weekend thinking beggars can't be choosers. Well, we were blown away the minute we opened the door to our room. Two double beds was all I was looking for. What we got was a...More
I and some friends stayed here while on our trip to the battlefield. It was outside the hustle of the city in the countryside. This is not a chain motel it is a family run place. We had a great time here, the room was...More
I have stayed at this stop a couple times now. While I will say that it is a little dated and could use some work (not much), it is a real nice place to stay. It is just north of Gettysburg, so it is a...More
Great motel, lots of space. Clean sheets & great location for Gettysburg activities. We had the queen suit which was complete with its own back terrace. The room was clean & air con worked fine. Plenty of parking & a nice view from the back.
This motel is 5 miles east of Gettysburg center, but it is a gem!!! The people are super nice, take up time with you and give you advice on attractions in the area, which are also good. The rooms are quaint, but they are prompt...More

The Blue Sky Motel in Gettysburg, PA is a dump. I am glad I checked out early. And that fat woman who runs your desk is a thief. When I got back to my new accommodations after an appointment, I found many things missing. I know it was her who robbed me. I also have digital pictures of her leaving my room when I returned early. That's when I noticed my possessions missing.
She needs to be fired immediately and banned from the grounds.
Not only that, she is a drunk. Starts boozing it up around 2 in the afternoon. And she complained about the owner constantly, saying some very bad thinks about the guy who owns the place.
Is this the type of person who want to represent your motel?

Totally agree. This is a run-down piece of crap. And the woman at the front desk was drunk when I was there ... all the time.
