I was there with a group of rowdy gays and while our behavior could have been better, the hotel's staff could not have been. Professional, friendly, and respectful. I was really impressed. The building's decor is a bit dated, but I found it charming and fun. And the pool area was a great surprise. Plus it was a good price...

I spent an afternoon and evening at an event held at this hotel in late March, and found the front desk and all staff to be very hospitable. I also found the room very clean and roomy. I will choose this hotel next time I stay in Gettysburg.

Rooms and property are extremely dated. I would discourage travelers from staying here, the carpet in our room is likely a health hazard. The pillows are lumpy and uncomfortable, the furniture is in very poor shape. The pool, is not filled and needs painting. All in all very, very disappointing. This is very definitely NOT a 3 star property.

I was there for a weekend winter getaway with a group of people and I absolutely hated the hotel. This hotel only has one small elevator to service the hotel. My room was dirty. The gross bath tub had a perpetual dirt ring. The toilet was broken...would not flush even after two service repair attempts. The hall and room smelled...

The facilty was dirty. The exercise room was more like an exercise equipment storage closet. The equipment was broken, the floor was dirty, there were not any mats for a floor workout or even any towels! The pool wasn't ready, there were cracks in the glass ceiling of the pool roof allowing cold air in. The rooms did not have...

We went in the fall of 2012 and we found it was old, but quaint. Loved the indoor swimming pool. Where everyone else had closed theirs (outside), this one still had one to use. The hotel is old and needs a makeover for sure. The decor is out of date and the furniture has seen its better days, 20 years...

We stayed over on New Year's Eve, and had a terrific time. The staff was extremely helpful, and you get the feeling that with the excellent way it's being managed, it's only a matter of time before it becomes one the very best hotels in the area. There is a new management team in place, and after despite some negative...

We recently thought we were staying at the EH&CC, my husband was attending a conference; however, when checking in we were told we were staying at the Aspire, right next door (and connected with interior corridors). No problem. Upon checking in we found the room to be just ok, but it had no information about either facility, restaurants, etc. in...

After hearing raves and paying a higher price than desired I was excited about spending the 150th anniversary of the Gettysburg Address here. The room is dated with SEVERAL holes, dents, marks, etc. throughout the room. A tacky and tactless sign threatens a bill if you steal their towels. The room had not been vacuumed as "souvenirs"' from the previous...

It's tougher to hide physical flaws the older you get, and the same is very true for the Eisenhower. They've got a nice quiet location just outside of town (maybe my favorite location), but that's about all this place has going for it these days. It's clean on the surface, and the people who work there are decent folk who...
