As I sat in the historic house, I read the first hand account to of what happened there. Amazing doesn't sum it up. I could almost hear the soldiers moans and the battle outside. Please do stay there. Location an caretakers are both awesome. Shriver House and wade house are the two other main stories in town and Tillie is...

We stayed here in late April 2014 and it was a wonderful experience. The place is very clean and well maintained. The manager, Becky, was extremely nice, helpful, and accommodating. It reminds you of a bed and breakfast (which it used to be), but is now set up with a hospitality room with some drinks and snacks and you can...

This was our first visit to Gettysburg and we wanted to stay somewhere centrally located and preferred a B&B atmosphere. We were very excited to be staying at Tillie Pierce House as this seemed to fill the bill. The house IS centrally located and we were able to walk to all our destinations, minus the battlefield. Upon arrival, Becky showed...

We stayed here because we wanted to stay at someplace historical, not a Holiday Inn, like we did last time we visited Gettysburg. It was really lovely, built in 1820. We stayed in the green room, facing Baltimore St. Everything looks authentic except for the bathrooms and Keurig coffee maker. Linda (not good with names) was wonderful, so nice. She...

We loved our stay! We were the only ones that night so we had the Inn to ourselves. It was quiet, except for the rain. The Inn is close to shopping, great restaurants, and sight seeing. We did a ghost hunt and the Inn helped us get our tickets. The breakfast was your usual cereal, muffins and fruit but that's...

This was my 7th time in Gettysburg in the past 2 years and my 7th time staying at the Tillie Pierce House. I must say, of all the times I've stayed here, this place gets better each time. The inn is always clean and inviting. The manager, Becky, is by far the best person to deal with. She knows so...

Last year we stayed at the Farnsworth House Inn and it was AWFUL! You weren't allowed to eat in the room (understandable, but we were told if there was food trash found in the trashcans we would be fined $150...ridiculous!), it was small for the price we paid and nothing really happened. It was a pretty place to be, but...

My best friend, sister-in-law and I stayed a weekend in the Tillie Pierce House in. We were immediately greeted at the front door and given a tour. What a beautiful house and a great stay. We were also visited by a cat, who would jump on the bed, but there was no cat in the house. We also participated in...

Location is wonderful! We parked and didn't move the car until it was time to leave. Such a cool house too, exactly what you'd expect in Gettysburg. We stayed in the Fannie Buehler Suite and my son had an interesting event with the paranormal. The 24 Hour Hospitality Room was nicely stocked. The only negative would be it was a...

The location is near perfect, halfway between the town circle and the national battlefield. It makes it easy walking distance to most of the restaurants in town. We were greeted at the front door and quickly shown our room. She explained about the ghosts experiences so we were well prepared. The room was spacious and spotless. We had a private...
