We deeply regretted staying here. Not only was the bed advertised as a queen (it's a double that sags in the middle and is extremely uncomfortable), but the "breakfast" part of this stay consisted of a water pitcher marked "hot" that was never even warm and some day-old muffins from the grocery store. The street was extremely noisy and there...

We have been to Gettysburg many times, always staying in the historic, and most exciting downtown area. Often our evenings have ended at the Tilly Pierce House on Baltimore Street, a dangerous place to be in 1863 with thousands of rounds of lead passing by for 3 days! This bed and breakfast is perfectly located within easy walking distance of...

On January 4th I made a reservation for a 2 night stay for September 2015. On April 11th I regretfully had to cancel my reservation. Tillie Pierce charged me a 25.00 cancellation fee.I feel this is very poor business, especially since I cancelled 5 months in advance.I would advise anyone who is thinking of staying here to be really sure...

We spent only one night at The Tillie Pierce House. Our last night. If I had known how good it was going to be, I would have been sure to stay my entire visit. The rooms are spacious and airy and very clean! Our bed linen smelled wonderful and the aroma therapy contributed to a wonderful night's sleep. Our bed...

My husband and I stayed at the Tillie Pierce House Inn this past week-end. We have been to Gettysburg several times and have walked by and decided that this time we were going to book a room there. We were able to get the Lydia Leister suite and as soon as we arrived we were greeted very warmly by the...

My entire paranormal team booked the inn from March 20th-22nd. We were greeted by the NEW manager, Gail. She seems to have a grasp on what the inn was lacking from not so wonderful staff (reviews) and more. I am confident that Gail will keep up the inn and bring it to a place where guests will want to stay...

Unfortunately we were not happy with our room at all. The bedding was old, floor in need of a good cleaning, hair and trash on bathroom floor. My husband dropped something and looked under the bed and he said that it looked like it had not been cleaned in a very long time. We had to ask for toilet paper...

My boyfriend and I booked a room at the Tillie Pierce house for a last minute road trip to Gettysburg. Generally I find B&B's to be a bit on the uncomfortable side (it's kind of creepy staying in someone's house) and this one was no different. I appreciated they had semi-reserved parking for guests, even though street parking in Gettysburg...

If it weren't for the rooms being unbearably hot, I would have rated the Tillie Pierce House Inn much higher. We were unable to sleep well and actually considered camping out downstairs in the sitting room where it wasn't as oppressively hot but thought better of it! The following day, we were hot, grouchy, and totally exhausted, ruining what should...
