Contacted the inn months ago to make reservations for three couples and requested rooms be close to each other. "No problem" we were told. Rooms were on different floors and one in another building. When asked comment was "there was nothing they could do". Our room did not have a rug and walking on the bare floor left our feet... More

Dear Mr. Mullen, We want to give our apologies for the inconveniences you went thru during your stay. You informed us at the time of check-out your complaints and we understand your frustration. However, you had stayed with us THREE nights and never mentioned to the Front Desk staff about the floors prior to leaving. We have a note in... More

This was our first family vacation and the kids want to come back. Nice, clean hotel. Very good location! We were able to walk almost everywhere! The staff was very helpful from fixing the coffee pot to letting us use their umbrellas. Can't wait to come back!

We have stayed a few times at this little place and it has become our go-to place in Gettysburg. The rooms are nice and clean, the staff is wonderful and friendly, the breakfast is also very nice. Parking is good; however, the spots are not assigned to a specific room so you do have to look for a spot. Breakfast... More

We stay here everytime we're in Gettysburg & probably always will. Everyone is always very nice. The rooms are great...nice showers, comfy beds, & hardwood floors. Not to mention that it's in a fantasic location! The only suggestion I have is that people with dogs stay on the bottom floor. It kinda gets annoying when they run around & all... More

Nearby and walking distance to small shops, ice cream parlors, The Dobbin House, etc between Steinwehr Ave and Baltimore St at the National Cemetery. Short drive or few block walk to downtown. Short drive to Visitor Center. It has a home like atmosphere in the lobby & breakfast nook.... More

The Inn was able to accommodate us after another hotel (from the Choice Hotels group) botched our reservation. We were given a queen room with a balcony that overlooked Steinwehr Ave - perfect location!! Convenient to walk all over. Simple breakfast in the am too! We were warned upon check in that a high school group was staying on our... More

This is a great place to stay if you are a battlefield hiker or biker. It is a short distance from your room to the three roads that encompass the greater part of the battlefield. Clean well kept rooms, friendly staff, and a location in the center of things whether you are a ghost tourist, shopper, or Civil War buff.... More
