My husband and I decided, quite late in the day, to visit Philadelphia during the longish Presidents' Day weekend - helped that it was a valentines day weekend as well! We heard good reviews of this B&B and we were not disappointed. We were given room # 4 - a large room with beautiful antique furnishings and decor and a...

We recently spent two nights in this B&B over New Year's Eve. It was our second time visiting and it is our favorite B&B in Philly. The house has character. Every room is different. Lots of stairs and great old fashioned features that have been updated make this the best place to stay for warm and personalized service in a...

If you enjoy, picturesque living then this Bed and Breakfast on Clinton Street is for you. I recently stayed at Kathy's BB in October of 2014, and would return again with or without my family. Kathy (The proprietor) is a wonderful and happy person who is very accommodating. For example, when I arrived, it was pouring outside. She met me...

Kathleen, our host, is a delightful woman who makes you feel that she truly cares that you have a good time in her home in Philadelphia. We stayed for a few nights around Halloween in The Nook - each suite has a different name - on the ground floor, and although Kathleen kept on apologising for the noisy medical student...

We had a warm welcome from Kathy. Our room was spacious and well equipped. The B&B is within walking distance of the main attractions and restaurants. Kathy was very helpful in making suggestions for planning our day and in booking a taxi to the railway station. I can recommend the B&B, and would very happily stay there again!

This old town house is showing it's age...single paned windows that let in all the street noise; toilet that runs off and on...etc. Needs some TLC and paint. Good location but the owner was never seen after checkin. Yes...felt like a boarding house rather than a B&B.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Kathy's B&B twice in the last two months. Each time were due to the fact I had surgeries at Penn U. Meeting Kathy for the first time was like seeing on old cousin that you haven't seen in a couple years. She was the most pleasant, caring person you ever...

Very good location, and we had a positive experience with the Emerald Suite (apartment-like). There are a lot of stairs, and, of course, the building is showing its age, but that's the point of staying in an older B&B. If you have ever wandered down a historic street of townhomes and wanted to step behind the doors, you will enjoy...

Kathy is a very friendly hostess. The property is well-located. However, I was not impressed with the upkeep of the property. Leaks in the bathroom, smelly (empty) trashcan in the kitchen, woodwork in need of fresh paint. Although some may like the independence of breakfast in the room, I was disappointed not to be able to interact with other guests...

A very quaint B and B that is located in a very nice neighborhood. Many restaurants nearby and a 10 minute walk to the Liberty Bell. There are steps to contend with, but not too bad. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast that is provided is more than enough for two people. They provided eggs, sweet rolls, fruit,...
