This was a really nice hotel situated right in downtown and close to everything. The staff was great and the rooms were nice and the free breakfast wasn't bad either, will come here again when I need to go to downtown philly.

My husband and I and some friends stayed two nights at this charming and ideally situated B & B and were thoroughly delighted with our choice. We arrived in the early evening with a wine bag of bottles for the BYOB dinners we had planned at a couple of the many neighborhood restaurants. The very welcoming Matt, after checking us...

I picked this hotel for two reasons and two reasons alone, wifi and TA reviews. I was not disappointed. When we arrived, we were promptly greeted on the street and instructed where to park for check in. Once inside, we were quickly given instructions on how to get to the parking garage and our room keys. Our room was not...

Regrettable. Dirty, old, sparse breakfast in a narrow hallway. Needs a renovation urgently. I do not understand the good grades it get. Maybe the location is the only thing advisable. The low quality doesn't worth the relatively high price.

Lovely hotel right in Philly and near tons of places to eat, shop, and play tourist. Great price and cheap nearby parking. Wonderful staff. Great breakfast. Thanks for letting us in early since we had to dress for a formal 3:30 wedding nearby. Really enjoyed our stay. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

I spend a couple of days in early April 2016 - the reviews I had read on here were 'bang on' = this is a great deal, very homey, quiet, clean and you cannot beat the location. I walked everywhere; to the Independence Hall area, to the Barnes, City Hall = and you have some great little out of the...

We really enjoyed this hotel and it's location could not be beat. The room was clean and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is within walking distance to many Philadelphia attractions and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again while visiting Philly.

It is a quaint hotel about a 15 minute walk from Independence Hall and the other historic buildings. About a 15 to 20 minute walk to the Reading Terminal. There is no parking near the hotel, they do have a deal with an indoor lot about a 10 minute walk. Street parking is all meters and the meter cops are...

Stayed at Alexander Inn for 2 nights. Fantastic location, we were able to easily walk with our luggage from Jefferson Station (10min) to the Inn and then it was easy walking distance to popular tourist sites like Independence Mall and great dining on S 13th St or Samson Sts. We arrived early and were graciously offered breakfast, as well as...

Loved this hotel! I stayed here in February with my other half for a couple of nights and it was a truly pleasant stay. The room was cosy and clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff were very friendly and approachable. The location was perfect for exploring the city and seeing all the sights. Would stay here again in...
