I surprised my wife for a night out and booked a standard queen. Antonio set us up with a great room with exposed brick. The room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. We ate downstairs at Panorama. Look for my review on that. It was awesome and we didn't have to put on a coat. Thanks for a...

Charming. Great location. Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable bed. Fluffy towels. Delicious breakfast that far exceeded the traditional continental one. Included boiled eggs (soft, medium, hard), fresh fruits (pineapple, melons, grapes, oranges, apples), muffins and breads and more. The location was perfect for us, near downtown. The rate was the best we found in the area. Plus breakfast, parking and wifi...

Our room was a beautiful boutique style room with a mini balcony overlooking Old City and the river. We were steps from the Betsy Ross house, cooks row and public transportation if you aren't interested in driving. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They gave us great recommendations for a quick bite to eat, how to get around the...

It passed quite a lot of time to stay in a 3 star hotel and my initial feeling was negative but after a careful thinking of the overall situation I would say that it is a decent hotel for someone to stay in this mid range hotel. The room was clean but very small. The breakfast was very poor and...

We stayed at Penn's View on a quick overnight trip to the city. The location is great, the hotel is charming and clean, and the customer service excellent. We stayed in a deluxe queen with river views, a fireplace, and jacuzzi tub (Rm 500). The rooms are quite small, but have a wonderful historic charm and warm ambiance. Room 500...

I stayed for a week and it a wonderful room and location. There are three things that would make me think twice: 1. Even for a continental breakfast the offering was very skimpy. 2. The internet was free, but the bandwidth in the evenings is terrible. 3. The public printer for airline tickets and business needs never seemed to be...

This was our first visit to the Penns View. We were very pleased with the environment and atmosphere of this hotel - Cleanliness, charm and convenience. We did not expect the immediate and professional attention to our needs when checking in, when asking for information, at breakfast, or when our grandson needed batteries for a toy, that we received! Instead...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a romantic weekend getaway. We actually ended up extending our stay by another night as we were enjoying the hotel and our visit so much. Antonio and his staff are professional, courteous and accommodating. Breakfast is good. The panorama restaurant is also excellent. We are definitely planning a return visit. I would highly...

Our room on the 5th floor was smallish but very pretty and cozy. We had a view of Market Street with its shops and restaurants; of course that came with a bit of street noise, easily countered by turning on the fan. The bathroom was small but very well laid out. And the bed was so comfortable! My only complaint...

Penn's View is in the perfect spot to tour historical Philly and enjoy the ethic neighborhoods of the city. The Staff, rooms, location, and the restaurant (which serves 150 wines by the glass) are outstanding
