We stayed at The Franklin for an evening wedding. Although a luxury resort, the accommodations were disappointing. Let me preface this with accolades for the staff. Everyone was very nice. However, for a luxury hotel we found the rooms to be less than spotless (hair on bathroom floor, hair on toilet seat, dirty windows, dated furnishings, walls & floors). The...

Thank you for your comments regarding your stay at The Franklin. We will investigate the short comings you listed. I apologize for these mistakes. Just on the price of valet parking we are lower then our competition and other Marriott's in center city. The Hotel will undergo a major renovation from top to bottom in the first quarter of 2017....

Choose this place to step back in time to elegance. This is likely a seniors type of retreat. There is culture and elegance in this hotel. My wife an I enjoyed a very good bottle of wine for a good price while nestling in the middle of all this great history. This was a very reasonably priced hotel that allows...

If your idea of a good hotel is one with dusty fixtures that do not appear to have been cleaned in the last year, peeling wallpaper and staff who don't care about their customers - then is the ideal place for you to stay. Yes, it has a great location, but then so does Alcatraz - and I can guarantee...

The staff at this hotel were very helpful, always smiling! The location could not have been better located as it is in the historic center of Philadelphia. All of the major historic sites are within walking distance. The Liberty Bell is just a block away. We parked the car (valet service, US 38) and never used it during our stay....

This is now a Marriott but formerly an Omni property. I have had the pleasure of staying at this hotel when managed by both. She is a great property in a phenomenal location but in need of some TLC. As stated above, the location cannot be beat. You are central to everything worth seeing in Philadelphia... and there is quite...

I stayed here while attending a conference in Philly. The hotel is centrally located but that's about all it has going for it. Rooms and lobby are very tired and in need of a facelift. The breakfast buffet was depressing. Cold cereals and cardboard bagels. I knew it would not be 5 star but was expecting better as it is...

Thank you for the feedback. The hotel is scheduled for a $10 million renovation first quarter of 2017. When completed we will be re-named a renaissance hotel.

The location of this hotel is perfect for walking to many sights in Philadelphia. Customer service was phenomenal. The staff was very helpful. The room was a good size for the four of us but walls were a little thin. The bar was quaint and the bartenders very friendly. We ordered desert from room service which was a nice treat...

I stayed here because it is now part of Marriot family but I was a little disappointed. There is no concierge lounge which isn't the biggest deal but I was put on the penthouse floor and my room was big but didn't have a desk! It was very hard to sit on a chair with a computer on your lap...

Dear NorthjerseyWayne, As we pride ourselves on delivering a memorable hotel experience during your travels, we have unfortunately fallen short of our goal during your recent stay. As you mentioned the hotel is now part of the Marriott and with upcoming renovations, the concierge lounge, and desks in all guest rooms will be addressed. Upholding our commitment to provide a...

The best thing about this hotel is its central location: you are within minutes of walking distance to Independence Hall, Constitution Center, and Liberty Bell.
