I stayed here two nights in November and had a great stay. The location is perfect on 4th & Chestnut with attractions like Independence Hall & the Liberty Bell just steps away. We stayed in what I thought was a deluxe room but it was 202 I think on the end of the hall at it was huge. The bed... More

Great location and that's where it stops. Property desperately needs a renovation and the internet connection was real bad in my last 2 stays. Though near to my client location - I think I will end up walking the 8 blocks to the next Mariott property for my next stay 😞

The Staff was always helpful, the location was great, right in the middle of the tourist and historic area which was perfect for us as that was the purpose of the trip. Parking was just around the corner so self parking was ok for us. We didn't plan on driving much once we got there so the valet service was... More

Location was perfect! I stay in philly often and this is by far the best location. The customer service was outstanding. Yes the hotel needs some renovations but I think the pros exceed the con. Parking was no issue and valet was very quick. Definitely would stay again!

This hotel is centrally located and easy to find. The lobby is a bit dated "aka historic" and offers a nice place to meet, have a drink, or a bite to eat. The rooms are well maintained and clean. We did not take advantage of the fitness area or pool, so I can't comment on those. We opted for garage... More

The rooms are spacious. If you can get a room with a view of Independence park and South Philadelphia it is a great bonus. Everything in the room was good, just been a while since it has been updated. breakfast is ok but average. The bar is a bit stale but you are in an area with a lot of... More

Love the Franklin. Check in was a breeze and I was early. Given vouchers for continental breakfast as a gold Marriott member. I l love the lounge and stop for a drink after dinner. I will definitely be back.

For starters all staff members at The Franklin were very helpfull and courteous. My room had a big giant window that over looked the park that sat in front of the hotel and an old historic bank. Very convenient to walking all around the historic parts of town. The staff is very friendly. The room very comfortable and we had a great view. It was more expensive than we usually pay for a hotel, but it seems big cities charge more. I would stay here again if we return.
