The check in process and staff were very nice. So was the room. I had a problem in the bar area where there was gum under the bar stools which got on my stockings and dress. Also, waiter added other drinks to our bill (they were people we knew but not well enough to pay for their drinks). He never...

Dear Antoinette, Thank you for your comments, and for staying with us while you recently attended a wedding. I'm sorry that your husband's tab in our Standing O Bar/Bistro was higher than either of you expected it to be. Please visit us again soon.

For a mid-city hotel, it is easy to get in an out of town. Nice accommodations within easy walking distance to many of Philly's finer Irish bar (and others as well.) Service was great at check-in. The cookie is worth the trip getting there.

We planned to stay at the DoubleTree for one night and had to extend it to 2 while helping our daughter and her husband prepare to move. We were at the hotel basically to sleep but were impressed with its cleanliness and comfortable beds and room. I would stay there again in Philly.

I spent two days at the hotel. Positive: The location is central; the entrance is inviting with day-light; the bed is very comfortable; internet is included; room is clean Negative: Breakfast is poor - no fresh vegetables, coffee/tea has to be ordered separately from the buffet; I ordered in advance on the phone gluten-free bread and was promised it would...

This Hotel is the best location for hitting all of the local flavor and the nightlife. If your kid is in college at one of the hand full of colleges, this is definitely the place to stay. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. On Friday night, the bar was not staffed enough to handle the happy hour, and the guests...

Okay, let's start by saying this trip has been a long time in the making and it was basically planned in order to see the Flyers play. I am a long time fan and have been waiting for years to go to Philly and see them play. It was a spur of the moment decision to go and we finalized...

Wifi password didn't work. Suite took 2 elevators and long walk to get to. Expensive. The staff at the Front desk was affable and accommodating. The gift shop was very sparse considering they appeal to Philadelphia tourists.

Thank you for describing your recent stay. Our Suites on 5 are in fact in a new part of the building, and three of those four floors require an additional elevator to reach. We think the extra distance is worth it, as the suites themselves are gorgeous and comfortable. Please visit us again soon!

The hotel is in a great location. Rooms are clean and big. Restaurant/bar was enjoyable. But the quality of sleep was horrendous. If you are a light sleeper, make sure that your room is not near the elevators before booking. If they give you a room near the elevator, change it immediately. If they don't have anything else available, find...
