Got in after midnight when there was no way we could not have made it to Vernal. We made a reservation and were told that Room 6 would be open for us. When we got there, the room was occupied since they apparently don't really monitor who checks into what rooms since no one is really on site. Not a...

About the only place to stay in Dinosaur so we didnt have much option. Looked a bit shabby outside but very clean once in our room. No one was in the office when we arrived (3 pm) so we used the phone located outside the small office to talk to the very helpful owner. She said she wouldnt be there...

Sure there are larger towns not far away but Dinosaur, CO is the real thing; very close to the Colorado entrance to the park and the fabulous drive down to the river; the Terrace is a very clean and convienient motel, and everything is a sort walk from there; and the price is super cheap. My 12 year old grandson...

I was more than ready to stop for the night and on the phone the staff were friendly and helpful so I decided to stay here. When I arrived I wasn't sure what to expect based on the outside of the property, but it was great! The room was cozy (smallish) but incredibly clean, comfortable, and felt safe. The fridge...

The Terrace is an older Route 66 - type motel,, a bit shabby, but very clean. Single story, room had wifi, A/C, comfy bed. Can't complain about the $55 rate! Mini fridge, microwave, little packets of shampoo but no conditioner and no hair dryer. There were only 2 other occupied rooms, and no one in a room adjacent to me,...

I was on my way back east on a cross country road trip. I was tired and saw this place on the side of the road. It's nothing fancy. BUT... the room was clean, everything worked, the owner was eager to assist if I needed anything, and it was very modestly priced. This isn't a place I would schedule a...

Stayed here in September when passing thro, booked for one night but stayed a further 2 as it is so handy for the trails around Harpers Corner( about a mile East, easy cycling distance), also only 20 miles west to the Carnegie Quarry of Dinosaurs. Although town is small, only one restaurant across the road there are lots of options...

We stayed just one night on our way to Dinosaur monument. Recently and in process of update/remodel. Room was small but very clean. Owner was friendly. If you're looking for a place to stay for a longer visit may want to go Vernal as the restaurants close early and open late.
