After 2 nights in Yosemite village we had 2 nights at edelweiss lodge in mammoth lakes which gives you a totally different experience. Our chalet had a kitchen, lounge area, bedroom and bathroom. Very clean, parking available in front of the chalets, short drive into the city area to purchase supplies. Would stay again definitely.

Sometimes, you put conclusion first: Next time I will use Mammoth Lakes as my base to Yosemite. Unlike other chain hotels, Edelweiss is an independent lodge owned by a couple. Thus, a lot of things can be adjusted and accommodated. Unfortunately, we only stayed on night, but my dog had a GREAT time. 1. Family/DOG friendly The lodge is not... More

Service excellent, nice couple own and operate, very friendly and chatty, know the area well so a lot of useful tips. Rooms are large and very very clean. Property is situated around some great walking tracks and beautiful old pines. Will return if back in Mammoth. Would definitely come back

Three of us plus dog had a pleasant 1-night stay in a 2 bedroom cabin. We had a warm welcome complete with a doggie goodie basket. The cabin appeared to have been recently refurbished but still kept its woodsy charm. We also appreciated the attention to detail evident throughout.

Great little hideaway in Mammoth Lakes, very quaint and comfortable. Pet friendly is a big plus...we come back every year! Would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys the Sierra's with all the fun things to enjoy just minutes away.

It had been over 10 years since we last visited Mammoth, so we didn't know where to stay, other than that it had to be dog-friendly. We kind of stumbled upon Edelweiss Lodge, but will now be our go-to place the next time we visit the area. The owners, Dawn and Terry, were the nicest and most helpful lodging operators... More

This is our second time staying here and the owners Terry and Dawn are amazing. There home is your home during your stay. Everything is clean, well equipped to meet your home away from home needs, our kids and two labs love it here. The location is convenient near town, near Lake Mary and Lake George, and yet so quiet... More

We returned to the lodge for a second visit since our last one in 2013. We even had the same room and found it upgraded with some new furniture and bedding. It was very comfortable for us and our two dogs and the kitchen was equipped sufficiently for our needs. The location is great for walking the dogs and it... More

We had a fantastic couple of days here. The lodges are lovely, very clean and Terry was so helpful. Great base, wish we'd had more time here. The kitchen was a bonus and they even let us use the washing machine! Definitely recommend!

We stayed here for one night on our way up from Las Vegas to Lake Tahoe. The owners were friendly, the check-in process was flawless, and the units are just as described.
