The first sight is very welcoming. The reception was warm, polite and very friendly. We stayed in an upstairs room, fully serviced and found the room very clean, warm and two double beds with ample bedding. Coffee and tea facilities are at bottom of stairs. Overall a very nice relaxing spot to stay

My husband and I stayed at alpenhof for a night on our way to Yosemite. Cute place and close to all the restaurants around. We didn't get a room with a view as we checked in late, but I'm sure those would be great. They had complimentary breakfast which was standard but good. The ppl there were the best. Super...

We stayed at this hotel because it had gotten decent reviews on Trip Advisor and we loved the location. We came in for a long weekend with our children (ages 10 and 12) to ski for a couple of days. The hotel staff was very friendly but we won't be coming back to stay here again. It looks like a...

We love the guest service and personality of this individually owned hotel/motel. This time we stayed in a king room, main building. Perfect for the winter. The room was spacious enough, had a mini frig (very convenient). The lobby has water, coffee, and cookies available throughout the day. We dined at Petras, our favorite restaurant in Mammoth. We just discovered...

PROS: 1) Location - Easy walk (<100 feet) to the Gondola and great restaurants in the Villiage 2) Price - $100 less per night than other similarly located properties 3)...

Place is cosy, close to the village gondola, restaurants and bars. Everything in easy walking distance. Staff, Adam, Annemieka and Martha very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast is a little limited, some fresh fruit salad and more variety would be welcome. Place could do with a refresh of amenities, especially the bathrooms and carpets. For a mountain lodge we found it...

This hotel is ideal for its location and friendly, helpful staff. A quick gondola ride will get you to the slopes. The complimentary breakfast is complete as well in a friendly atmosphere. Finally the village is directly across the street. The village has shops and lots of restaurants.

Check-in procedure smooth & easy; still using real keys which never have to be re-coded. Lot well maintained and plenty of guest parking. The room and double beds were huge. In wall heater is old, non- digital, and quite functional. Great ski racks by the door, tv a bit small for the size of the room. Small, cold bathroom. The...
