Stayed one night on our drive from Vegas to Yosemite. Perfect stop, only a 6 hour drive from Vegas and under an hour the next morning to the East gate of the park.  The room was huge and very clean and the bed was super comfy. Breakfast was included in the price, nothing fancy but substantial enough to last us...

We have been regular summer guests for many years. Staff are very competent, friendly, and quick to respond to requests. We have not noticed any staff turnover. The housekeeping is immaculate. The rooms and beds are comfortable. The common room for getting together with friends and/or family is a big plus, as are the spa and the covered parking. The...

We were looking for a hotel to stay that was reasonably priced in Mammoth Lakes area on the way to Vegas. Many of the hotels in the area are more expensive than was in our budget. I was surprised by this, as Mammoth lakes is known for its skiing, so I did not expect the outrageous rates that we were...

I stayed here as part of a USA road trip tour of the west side of the country. I was only stopping in Mammoth lakes overnight and wanted to book somewhere cheap. I booked cheap and I got cheap. That's not necessarily a bad review....the lodge and room wasn't unliveable in. Just outdated, a bit damp smelling and no air...

Stayed at Sierra Lodge while my son raced at the Mammoth motocross track the last week of June. This hotel is very out dated no air conditioning, pool and had very odd hours for the little spa that they had and T.V. I think was from the early 80’s. Extremely overpriced for the hotel accommodations . As much as there...

Dear Lisa C., In reply to your recent review on TripAdvisor. I am sorry to hear that your recent stay at Sierra Lodge did not meet your expectations. Your primary complaint of the hotel focused on lack of air conditioning (a/c) and “value.” We do not advertise that we have a pool or air conditioning so I apologize if this...

From the 1st day of dealing with Sierra Lodge to check out time, I was totally impressed. I called 3 months in advance to hold 20 rooms, I had absolutely no problems, they held them almost until the day we arrived. I brought 35 people, and everybody had a great comment about this place. The beds are so comfortable, the prices...

The staff was very friendly and gave good vibes. Rooms had refrigerator, microwave, sink, dishes, table, couch, and were quiet. The only down side was there was no elevator. We were a large group, and staff was glad to please us.

We stayed here for 4 nights this past week. Our room was very spacious, bed perfectly comfy, front desk extremely friendly and helpful. Yes it is a bit "outdated" but not at all in a cheap way. The free breakfast is what you would expect, basic, bagels, English muffins, toast, cereal, a few pastries, nothing fancy. The only complaint we...

We enjoyed our stay in a spacious, airy room that had a small kitchenette plus a plush, comfy sofa that made it feel more like a small studio apartment than a hotel room. The "Great Room" where breakfast is served and guests clearly congregate evenings in ski season (wonderful big fireplace, so we can imagine the ambience) was a bonus,...

My friend and I stayed less than a week. The place was reasonably priced and served our purposes, which were to stay close to the mountain, have a soak in the hot tub after skiing, and lodge in comfort. I would have preferred the rooms to have a small desk or something to use my laptop, but what the rooms...
