We stayed at the Best Western Mammoth Lakes on Oct 18. Our room requirements are simple. We want a clean room, good quiet nights sleep on a firm bed. Our room 332 was larger than we expected. It had a microwave and mini fridge. I normally like the wash basin inside the bathroom because I can then use the basin...

Dear activeguy88 Thank you for your review and your feedback. We have received a few comments regarding the wash basin being outside the bathroom area and while we can not change that fact without a major remodel, we are discussing adding a dimmer switch to the vanity light so that it isn't as disrupting to your sleeping partner. I'm glad...

The hotel is located in one of California's ski resort towns on the east side of the Sierra, hotel room was comfortable, wifi reliable, breakfast was above average for Best Western hotels, hot and delicious, staff was friendly and helpful. Mammoth Falls has the ski resort feel, gas was overpriced, downtown parking is limited to 30 minutes free, pay to...

Hello Paul M, Thank you choosing to stay with us! I am glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay and I understand about the cost of gas. There are definitely pros and cons with being in such a remote mountain town that is predominantly tourist based, I do however have to say that the pros outweigh the cons and...

Hello Susan b Looking into everything that you are saying here, I have to apologize for some and bring clarity to others. Upon your notification of the broken hairdryer our front desk agent didn't communicate clearly. Being a new agent, instead of finding a solution, she just told you that we didn't have a replacement as maintenance could not locate...

The rooms are very large with nice furniture, a comfy bed, nice mountain views, HD TV, lots of towels, safe, fridge, microwave and free parking (some covered). Staff was very friendly. The free hot breakfast was very good. Although everything about the hotel was very good, it was a bit pricey (probably due to proximity to Yosemite). Strangely, the Indian...

Hello Luv2travel, Thank you for your review and I am happy that you enjoyed your stay. You are correct about being so close to Yosemite but you may not have realized that we are a destination unto ourselves. Many folks stop overnight here on their way to the National Park but many come to Mammoth Lakes to get out of...

We have stayed in many different hotels and condos in the Mammoth Lakes area over the years and this hotel has become our favorite for many reasons: Price, Quality and Location. Very tough to beat the value, friendly staff and many good shops and restaurants within walking distance.

The hotel was inviting from the moment we stepped into the lobby. The room was nice although a little cramped. The amenities were nice. The only problem was the hotel restaurant being closed and we had to run across Highway 203 to go to supper and back and in the dark that was dangerous.

Good place to stay at Mammoth but they definitely need more luggage carts for guest use for check in especially if the hotel is busy which I believe is the majority of the time. I have stayed at several hotels in Mammoth in the past and this was my best overall experience.

Great hotel and a great breakfast!! The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We were very glad we stayed there. They had sheltered parking for our motorcycles which was very nice. I have to say again how great their breakfast was. Much better than any other best western we have stayed at. And we stay at alot of best westerns.
