If you're looking to get maximum time on the slopes at Mammoth, I would recommend staying here. Not only do they have rentals in the lobby of the main entrance, but the staff is super nice and willing to help. The restaurant in the hotel is decent, but I would say the best spot to grab a beer would be...

We have been coming to the Mammoth Mountain Inn now just about every year for about 4 days for the past 20 years, would love to go more but its quite a far drive for just a weekend - and I gotta say I'm not sure if reviews are read or not but you can tell from a lot of...

Dear Austy25, Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay. We want to thank you for being a loyal guest at the Mammoth Mountain Inn even though you are only able to make it every now and then due to the far drive. Have you checked on flights to Mammoth? Booking far enough in advance can give...

Room was dated, small, bed soft, and musty. Toilet clogged. Tiny bathroom. Shower no tub. $20/night silly resort fee. Room window completely blacked out by snow. I told asst mgr JGubser and no apology. Unapologetic and unaccommodating. Just shrugged it off. Better luck next time essentially was our exchange. You couldn't tell if it was night or day in that...

There is a 1970's charm about this place. The breakfast is very good in the restaurant, they lend DVD's for the entire family from the front desk and the staff are kind. The location is incredibly convenient to lifts!

The location of the hotel in relation to the lifts of the Main Lodge cannot be beat, especially if you stay in the lofted rooms next to the Lobby and Restaurant. While the rooms and decor of the hotel are a little dated, everything is very clean and cozy. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

The Inn has a variety of rooms in various price ranges; not cheap but fair. They are pet friendly and generally the rooms are in good no frills condition. Its not in town but an easy 4 mile drive or shuttle ride from the Main Lodge area. If you want to just ski you can stay there, walk to the...

Aside from its ideal location right across from Mammoth's main lodge, there isn't much to say about this place, except the fact that it is definitely showing its age. The staff, on the other hand, are absolutely incredible - friendly , responsive, accommodating and very helpful. These great folks made it possible to have a positive experience, despite the run-down...

Dear Jonaleen A, Thank for your review of our hotel. Our sincere apologies that our hotel seemed aged to you. We plan on repainting and fixing any damages just as soon as the...

We would return to this hotel for easy access to the slopes (walk across the street to the Gondola) and a decent spa room with clean hot water, three indoor tubs divided by partial walls, one outdoor tub, and heated swimming pool. Dining included quality ingredients with good vegetarian options, but pricey. Friendly staff in the bar/restaurant!

Jackie at the front desk was great. Upgraded our room on a high demand day when most of town was booked. Why stay in town if you can be on the hill? F. The Sierra Nevada Inn, specifically Chris at the desk.
