My husband and I recently stayed at this charming Victorian B and B and enjoyed our stay. We learned a great deal of history of the area from the owner. The room was comfortable and the mattress was great. Breakfast was delicious.

The inn is beautifully decorated in fine antiques and linens. The type of drape/lighting is heavy and low. It makes for interesting surroundings and a subdued atmosphere. The breakfast was good and Jill was very knowledgeable on local things to do. If you like that...More

Good morning
Thanks for your question, it's a good one. The house is now 127 years old. I will be very honest, knowing how you may suffer physically at times. In the summer, yes, it may smell when we have had a lot of rain. It's not bad as we have added central A/C.But as you know old stuff can emit odor. I don't use smelly air fresheners, either. I just try to clean regularly and let the house be what it is.
I hope this helps with your decision, and maybe I'll see you soon!!
